Just a little Family Style Dining at it's finest. I was really surprised! It was so clean and nice inside too! Staff was great and service was great! I am vegetarian and there were tons of choices for me! My husband love Breakfast all day and they had that! Loved this place...will be back for sure!

Reasonable price for good food. Service was fast. Place was nice and clean. I got the tenderloin. It was good, but more like a fritter than a hand breaded tenderloins that I'm use to. The curly fries took up almost the whole plate! Cole slaw was good too. Definitely worth the stop!

My husband got his normal Dilly bar. I had been wanting the Pumpkin Blizzard because it's October and seasonal. The blizzard was awesome with nice crunchy pieces of pumpkin crunch of some sort. I also ordered a large ice tea. The lady offered me an extra class of ice without asking. Very nice people here. It's inside the Discount Store.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of the Bass Lake Pub whether you are there for a beer or with family. She staff works their butts off and help one another out to guarantee excellent service. The regulars also have great respect and I enjoy that as well

We've been going to Lindo for several years. We have tried most entrees on the menu as well as the daily food and drink specials.
The food is good to excellent, the portions are generous and very reasonably priced.
On Sundays they have half price (or at least discounted) beer, so it's a nice place to go and have a drink or two with friends.
Staff is very friendly, efficient and courteous.

Local favorite of retired old timers on fixed incomes and local land owners because it's cheap. It's the only restaurant within miles of anything, generally it's a lot of "bang" for the buck if you can call it that. I recommend the burgers. I don't recommend the omelettes (but for the life of me I can't understand how someone in the restaurant business this long can mess up an omelette). The service is great but what good is it if you have a unsatisfactory food experience. So just get a coffee and gossip like the rest of the locals.
[Given the history of this establishment and the fact that they only accept CASH ONLY is suspect this business only exist for money laundering but that's just me.]

The sign advertised an icecream shop so after dinner we stopped in. When you walk in you're entering a restaurant after asking about icecream we were directed to the back corner where there was a small shop set up. Typical hand scooped set up - bowls, cones, equipment to make shakes. The icecream seemed fresh and was good.

This pizza was great, nice spices, real cheese, YUMMY, YUMMY We had pepperoni and sausage and the other pizza was ham and pineapple. The breadsticks have a great texture, not doughy at all, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with garlic and spices. Not a fancy place but it was clean and sort of standard pizza place. We will eat here again.

We've been here 3 times and we will not return.
The food is average. We've tried pizza, steak, and sandwiches. The pizza is edible but rather doughy and not cooked uniformly. Then again, I love very thin crust pizzas, so that might not be there thing here. The steak was cooked as I had ordered but was a lower quality cut of meat and not very tasty. The sandwiches are the best thing we tried here. Specifically the hamburgers were good. The salad bar is not very good. I'm not sure the salad bar is kept cold enough and how long the food is kept out. But I must say, they had 2 soups available on the salad bar and the french onion soup was outstanding.
It's decorated very nicely and is extremely clean. There are interesting objects in both the dining and bar areas.
One thing that stood out though was that the service staff seems to be unhappy or perhaps very tense. We did receive good and prompt service and I can't put my finger on what the problem is, but my hubby commented that it seemed as though the servers don't want to be there and certainly don't enjoy their job at all. That was my impression as well. That environment made us a little uncomfortable and certainly detracted from the experience.

Chef Greg Ogle does it right. Low and slow. Smokey and delicious. The ribs are falling off the bone tender. The Cuban is great, right down to the sweet-hot pickles. And the 3 Wise Fries are to die for. If you are near Bass Lake, Indiana, you owe it to yourself to stop here and try his food. And if it's a holiday weekend, he is likely open Monday and Tuesday. Call ahead to avoid a wait. He cares about food and won't rush the process.
