A classic in this neck of the woods. Is it the best BBQ? Hmmm...you can decide that. It IS very good. I actually prefer the ribs over the pulled pork so maybe try a combo which is easily enough food for two! Inside needs a good hose down, tables are usually kind of sticky, but the food and hometown service will win you over regardless.

This place will make you forget you are in Kingston Springs, TN with its hip vibe...BUT you will feel the warmth of this small community in the excellent local food and service. This has become a 'go-to' for our family. We have tried (and loved) the majority of their pizza offerings, and you can't leave without trying the cookie skillet. Amazing!

Stopped in for a quick bite and was a bit astonished by the price of the combo burgers, so, being my cheap little self.......I ordered one anyway! Very, very tasty burger, well cooked and full of flavor! Can't complain one bit, well.....except for the price!! Good grief!!

Just a few miles beyond the last suburbs and strip malls of Nashville, by the Harpeth River, the countryside is beautiful. We're staying with family there and frequently pop down to Kingston Springs to eat at El Jardin, we have never yet been disappointed.
Extensive menu with all the items you would expect. I've never been to Mexico so I don't know how authentic it really is, but it certainly convinces me. I've tried various Enchiladas, Fajitas and enjoyed them all, but on my last visit had the Carnitas and thought they were exceptionally good.
The restaurant is conveniently close to to exit 188 on the I 40, and if I were wanting a meal stop on the way to Memphis this would be a really good place to try.

We stop in here at least twice a month. Their RedHawk burger(named after the local high school) is the best deal ever. Really big burger, fries, and a drink still beats McDonald's price and is ten times better. Wonderful little local spot- nothing fancy- a tad slow on the service, but it gives you time to reconnect and visit.

Looking for a QUICK rest stop, to restroom, grab a snack, drink, & hit the "boulevard" to KY. This Fuel Stop, with a bright shining "DD" Inside, caught our eyes. The coffee was a winning combo for the donuts. There was plenty of area to walk a bit, a necessity for travelers !!! The servers were quite cordial, the dining area clean, & we'll stop here when on I-40.

Went this fun place the other day with work friends and fell in love with it so much I took my wife back the next night.
Fillin' Station seats 40 max (according to the sign inside) but they raise up a big garage door to additional, open-air seating amidst beautiful, quaint surroundings. The staff treat you like a neighbor. The live music every night was good and is usually different any night you go. Very talented musicians grace the performing area.
Yes, the burgers are delicious. Order one, you must try it. They serve only beer and a few Barefoot brand wines. I cannot wait to go back and spend some serious time socializing with great friends old and new, eat/drink great food/drink, and listen to quality music. All while taking in some beautiful country scenery.

The staff, who might be family members, kept telling me that they'd just opened. The restaurant is simple, the menu is limited, the food unadorned and unremarkable. Accidental decor, unusual color scheme, a red, white and blue painting outside the building is clearly copied from one in Nashville and reads "I believe in White Bluff". I ordered the "bigger BLT", and it was just that: bacon, lettuce, tomato on toasted grocery store white bread, with a side of not-really-hot and rather mealy fried potatoes, for $8.00. Bigger than what remains unknown. Soft drink cost $2.00. Casual atmosphere, country music broadcast from a speaker, most of the other patrons seem to be seniors, though it's hard to tell.

When my youngest son drove into the parking lot of this restaurant near Nashville, I was not expecting to find some of the best and freshest Mexican food I've eaten in years. The service
was terrific, the food well prepared and the vegetables were exceedingly fresh. I was there for lunch and the prices were great, the portions very substantial, and the taste was wonderful! I would highly recommend this place.

As we were traveling on Christmas day hunger started to set in. We knew many places were not open so we were glad to see that Denny's was! The place was busy but we were seated right away. Our server Tara was very friendly and attentive. The food was good, the place was nice.
