Open 24 Hours a day 365 days a year!
Packed as usual on a Saturday afternoon, we got the only table available. BBQ sandwiches were good as well as the hot fries. Always good when you spot that yellow roof for a quick gas stop and meal when travelling up and down the East coast.

The menu has a good variety of Italian items. After dinner there is a nice choice of desserts. We had pizzas, which had very good fresh ingredients, and were above average but not more than that.
There is a reasonable, but limited, selection of wines. My wife had a glass, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quantity served. A good value.
We thought the dining area was much better than a typical pizza place, with plenty of space and clean. Our server was knowledgeable and checked on us frequently but not so often as to be intrusive.
I found this place by looking in the Trip Advisor app, which was good because you can't see it from the road, and would never know it was there. It is behind some other retail buildings. However, there were a number of locals there; so we figured that meant people sought them out.

We were staying at Massanutten Resort for the week of Oct. 14th and I wanted to have lunch at Denson's for my birthday. It was a 3 hr drive each way that very worthwhile.
Great food, great people and excellent service. The freshest seafood well prepared! If you are in the area you won't go wrong here!

This is a brand new Starbucks along Route 301 near Dahlgren. Long overdue for me! Perfect for a pit shop and favorite concoction! Staff is extremely friendly and location has Drive through option and outdoor seating

This location opened back in April 2012 to take advantage of high traffic between the nearby Walmart and Navy base. I visited for dinner and had a Little Cheeseburger ($5.69) with a Little Cajun Fries ($3.09). The burger was stacked higher than I'm normally used to receiving at this chain. It didn't taste as good as compared to other Five Guys' locations, but the fries were good and I received plenty. The wait was also longer than anticipated, especially since I submitted a web order and I was the only customer customer they had to prepare food for when I arrived. The tax rate here is 9% (5% for state, 4% additional for county) so I hope you enjoy the high rate as I did.

This restaurant seems to have opened/reopened relatively recently, and it's definitely going through some growing pains. I actually tried to eat at this restaurant a couple of times before I was successful; they changed their hours around multiple times without putting a notice on the door. It almost discouraged me from even trying to eat here. They seem to have consistent hours at this point though.
It's also a bit disorganized. There's not really a line or any obvious organization of who is taking and fulfilling orders and where to wait.
All that said, the food is pretty fantastic. There are lots of pastries and desserts for a la carte purchase, as well as a number of cold sandwiches prepackaged for takeout. They also have hot food available, that changes by the day. I had a sandwich with cheese melted over it and it was heavenly. I forget the name of it. I know they rotate through different dishes, I don't know if there's a pattern to it or not. For now, they seem to be only open until 5pm. There is takeout and also a seating area if you'd prefer to eat there.
In terms of food quality, this place gets five stars from me. But I'm subtracting a star because it doesn't seem like they have their act together, in terms of business hours and flow.

Stopped in to order a carry out Pizza one evening last week after a long day and was cheerfully greeted by the person behind the counter. First visit there so I wasn't sure what type of pizza to order and it was suggested to try the House Special with everything. That was easy. I took a seat to wait and was approached by a nice lady that placed a plate in front of me with a hot sugar doughnut on it with cream icing on the side. She said this was to tide me over while I wait. I thanked her and told her I would take it home for my daughter....it looked so good I did have to try just a little bite.....Homemade doughnut to die for!!!!! I ate the whole thing!!!! Turns out the nice lady is the owner and has years of experience in the catering field and decided to open this pizza and sub shop in the town of Port Royal. My order was soon ready and I thanked her for the delicious doughnut and the hospitality and wished her well in her new endeavor with the promise of returning in the near future if only for more doughnuts!!!! Got home and opened up the pizza box and to my pleasant surprise was a total masterpiece!!! This pizza was piled so high with all the fixings!!! I served it to my family and all raved over the taste and how there was no skimping on the toppings. This pizza was the absolute best tasting pizza I have enjoyed in a very long time. I plan to visit again very soon and try out some other items on the menu. Check them out....You'll be so glad you did!!!

This is the place to go for the best lasagna dinner! In fact, everything on the menu is top notch. And the huge portions leave you almost too stuffed for dessert! The food is prepared fresh and served by a friendly wait staff. The owners are the friendliest in the area and always offer a warm welcome.

Seat yourselves in the dining room or at the bar. Food is at a very attractive price. The pizzas overall are excellent. Taco pizza is my favorite but a lot of the other ones are really good too. Pretty good onion rings, although they're a bit stingy with them. Large menu to choose from.
