We were taken their by the Innkeepers at Heat & Soul B&B along with good Friends, Brian & Lisa. Portions were great. Service even better. And the food - TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. We loved it and will go back next time we're there.

Have purchased two cakes from this establishment. Both were superior. Had not complaints. Have not been back as I now either make myself or purchase from another establishment i have found. Recommend though. Cakes are very tasty.

Dairi-O in King is one of a small chain of restaurants operating in the Winston-Salem area. The King facility underwent a major make-over a couple of years ago, but the changes didn't alter its personality -- it's still a throwback to the old-fashioned malt shops of the fifties.
Hand-dipped cones and sundaes and milk shakes made the way they should be top the menu. Excellent hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries. The traditional Carolina burger -- mustard, chili, onions, and slaw -- is AWESOME!
Prices are reasonable, service is SUPER FAST, and the seating area is inviting. You can't go wrong with a casual dinner at Dairi-O! It's a fixture of the King landscape!

We hadn't been to King Kitchen in a while for dinner. We usually eat her for breakfast but we stopped by after Church this past Wednesday night. Even at 8:45 pm, the food was still fresh and hot. My husband got the special of three pieces of white fish and two sides. The pieces of fish were huge. He couldn't eat all of it. That is something totally unusual. My husband always has a happy plate (empty plate). He said it was really good too. We will be back again real soon. Maybe on another Wednesday night so I can eat his extra piece of fish. haha

I live in this small NC town. Town and Country is a local favorite. I had prime rib rare and it was very good. I have dinner a couple times a month at this establishment. Friendly staff and good food. Try if your passing through the area.

We usually get takeout here, but decided to dine in for my husband's birthday so he could enjoy a few cold beers from the tap. The service was really phenomenal. Brittany was the best server I've had in a long time. She was just perfect, always there with refills or boxes and just bubbling with enthusiasm. It was worth waiting 20 minutes to be seated, and I don't normally say that. My mac n' cheese skillet was okay, was hoping for grilled chicken but must not have read the menu closely enough. But my kids loved their fries and mac and cheese and my husband enjoyed his very hot wings. But the carnival fries for dessert are my favorite item on this menu hands down and did not disappoint.

Great dinner selections including meatloaf, fried bologna, hamburgers, chicken fingers, and BBQ. We prefer to add sauce ourselves and usually have to take a chance that the order will come drenched in sauce. NOT Here. The meat was drier with cole slaw on top and we were happy. Lots of other side dishes besides fries.

Be adventurous and order something different...Jerk Chicken with the best grilled vegetables including tender asparegus, yellow squash, orange peppers placed over black beans. The rice isn't the standard red, its yellow with a light flavor highlighting pineapple bits. The rim of the plate was decorated with a hot sauce that contrasted with the sweet white sauce under the chiken. I chose a spinich and a mushroom qusidella with the standard beans and red rice. The service was great but since it was our first visit, I think we could have been given a small sample of the cheese sauce that others were ordering with the tableside chips.

This strip-mall deli, open since May 2016, offers a wide selection of sandwiches, with names suggesting medieval times but made from scratch fresh produce and meats. I ordered the Excalibur (Reuben with pastrami), my partner ordered the Gauntlet (grilled chicken breast). Both were very tasty and a nice size. Sandwiches come with chips and a choice of pickle spear or pickle chips. Sandwich prices range from $6 to $9, and they use Boar's Head meat products (our favorite deli meat brand).
As an added surprise, they sell deli meat and cheese by the pound, for less than the large chain grocery store across the street where we previously bought Boar's Head deli meat and cheese. Baked desserts are fresh made from scratch.
They have a limited children's menu for $2.99 that comes with chips or a side of fruit.
Plain setting tables and chairs. While the food was great, they do use disposable plates and paper napkins, so elegance is not in play here.
Free wi-fi. Local delivery to King and Rural Hall free with $20 minimum order.
Overall, good deli sandwiches in a plain strip mall setting, lots of free parking. We will return, if for nothing more than their meats and cheese for home sandwiches.

This place keeps going down hill. Not very good Japanese. First thing you notice is a weird smell when you walk in. Then you notice that it needs a good make over because everything is so dated and worn out. I had chicken teriyaki and the chicken tasted like it was reheated or something. It was dry and very tough. Will not be going back. Want Japanese go into Winston Salem and get it.
