We picked this place on a recommendation for the Jambalaya and it did not disappoint. Ingredients are top shelf and flavor profiles interesting and well executed. The portions are HUGE - teenage boys couldn’t finish half of their Jambalaya dishes. The Nashville chicken has 2 boneless breasts and 2 biscuits. The shrimp and grits offers 10 nice sized shrimp with very rich cheese grits.
Pork belly appetizer was my favorite plate.
Service is very attentive but not hovering.
Voodoo shrimp is delicious and large enough it could be a main course for a smaller eater, but very rich.
Make a reservation-it’s not a large place.
We will definitely return!

Had never been to this restaurant before so
I read the previous reviews and arranged for a six person luncheon.
Service was prompt and the waitress was pleasant. Unfortunately the food was awful! Corned beef sandwich on rye with steak fries was terrible. The fish 'n chips not much better, etc, etc.
Only a couple of tables were occupied which seemed strange for a place rated #1. You would expect them to be busy.
We will not be going back.

Had a brief dinner meeting here last night with two other friends. Food was good, service just okay, as were being served by a "trainee server". She was very nice, but needs more training, as it appeared she was recently hired. I had veal parm and salad bar for $19.95.....a bit pricey I thought. The portion was pretty large, and I took home my salad and half of the dinner. My dinner companions had just appetizers, mozzarella sticks and grilled veggies which they said were pretty good. Not much of an atmosphere, but they did have early bird specials which the seniors seemed to be enjoying the bargain prices.....LOL. Plenty of parking is available, and the location is directly on Route 35.

This is our favorite local bakery. Their cookies and cakes are always tasty and pretty. They make cannolis and pignoli cookies that really hit the mark.
They have pre-prepared assorted cookie trays and select from the counter assortment. (we always pick from the counter assortment). Everything is always fresh and delicious. I recommend this bakery.
Take out only - no seating inside.

I've visited this DD many times and it really is very standard to the guidelines of the franchise.
However, the staff are very nice and the facility is very clean. Even the bathroom is immaculate any time I have gone. Which is a big deal since its a small space and the bathroom is so close to the counters and cooking facilities.
Again, the staff are very diligent about getting your order correct and are very charming. Once, the staffer told me all about the special donut he handmade. It was quite charming for a retail employee to be so "in to" his work.
Bravo to this site for being so friendly!

Our party of 8 arrived right on time for our reservation....the restaurant was half filled ...I guess we didn’t need it....we were seated immediately at a round table with 8 chairs but only 6 place settings... probably an honest mistake...menus, complementary bruschetta and warm bread arrived at our table within minutes....from there the service went down hill and we were then totally ignored by our server for about 20 minutes....we actually flagged down another server to tell our server that we were ready to order....the server we flagged down returned about 5 minutes later and took our order....she said our server was busy...I don’t know what she was busy with...by this time the restaurant was empty(our table and two others)...with the order finally in seven of our dinners arrived in a timely fashion...one dinner came out about 10 minutes after the others were served....once the dust settled we all throughly enjoyed our dinners....steaks were done to order....the ladies said the swordfish special was excellent and the parpadelle with shrimp and scallops was awesome....shrimp parmigiana was tasty and my pork chops were outstanding...5 star food with 2 star service....all in all it was a fun evening with good friends...took some pictures of the menu since there’s no website for this restaurant.

I was there for my birthday and our seafood meal was delicious and fresh. The waiter was attentive, informative and polite. The only drawback was the bartender was not too familiar with making special frozen drinks. I will definitely return to try something different.

It was our first time dining at the Broad Street Diner. We came because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. It's always fun to eat in a really old (but well maintained) diner! Everything we had for lunch was really good including the burgers, pastrami sandwich, Turkey club, fried pickles, coffee & fries. The service was also very good. Is it the best diner we've ever been to? Not the best but certainly in the top ten. We will make a point of coming back the next time we are in the area.

Me and my wife have been there 2 times before and were disappointed both times. The food either came out cold or was lacking flavor both times. However, I am a 3 strikes kind of guy. The 3rd strike comes this past Monday. My wife figured for my Birthday we would give them a last chance. I really do love Peruvian food and wanted this place to work out since I live near by. She made a reservation for 11 people. We arrived at the location, party in tow, to find that they decided to close. They gave us no notice (a simple phone call would have been nice) and there was nothing posted on the door. So that's the 3rd strike for me. My wife called the restaurant and left a message letting them know her disappointment. They responded the next day with a dismissive message not apologizing but telling her they'd be open that day if we want to come. So...in summary; not only have i found there food and service to be sub-par in the past, they really put a damper on my birthday plans. Thanks Inkanto!
