Does time ever pass in the Florida Keys? Everyone and everything in Key West seems to go at its own pace, right down to the ice melting slooooowly in your margarita glass. Of course, it’s not all limes and leisure – Key West is known as the “Winter White House” because of its appeal to visiting U.S. presidents, and the island has been home to literary greats like Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. The diving here is phenomenal, as is the kid-friendly Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center.

Well as many people have said. There is a reason this place is number one! Excellent authentic food! My family loved it. My daughter I split the West Bowl and my other family members had the larger wraps that were amazing. Plenty of food. Could easily be split. Makes you feel like you are in another country eating! Don’t miss this place. Worth the walk from Duval Street!

Parked behind Grumps Bar is a shiny Airstream trailer called Garbo Grill. It has a great sandwich menu and you walk right up and look at a menu and place your order. You’ll get a buzzer box that goes off when your sandwiches are ready. You can buy bottled teas, sodas at the Airstream or you can go into the bar for a beer or glass of wine. There is ample patio seating and you can eat in the bar under fans or at an outside table. Got a hamburger with bacon, cheese, and the works and it was excellent. Next time I’ll try a big Mango hot dog or a burrito. The side that came with the burger was a bag of bbq chips - I don’t think they have other sides. But the sandwich was really good; give it a try on Caroline Street, Key West.

Santiago"s Bodega (305) 296-7691 • 207 Petronia Street – www.santiagosbodega.com - A wonderful assortment of over thirty small plates await you at this tapas-style eatery. Accentuating the well seasoned combination of dishes, Santiago's also has great soups, salads, and a remarkable wine list to compliment. Santiago's Bodega is a unique restaurant located in the heart of Bahama Village, off the beaten path and away from the tumultuous crowds. Santiago's serves lunch and dinner all year, seven days a week. Open 11am-10pm daily.
This was rated our family’s favorite meal for the week. The fact that we had twelve different dishes left us feeling satisfied and not overly stuffed. We ate on the porch which was very relaxing and quiet, unlike the loud cacophony of conversations coming from the many imbibing groups within the dining room inside.
Everything from braised short rib to saganaki to ceviche and chocolate crepes. Something for everyone and a great way to sample and experiment. Do not miss this place if you are a foodie.

We had reservations for two and arrived a little early but were able to be seated almost immediately. We ordered an appetizer of fried calamari which arrived promptly and was very good. We each had steak for dinner and both were very tasty and cooked to are requested temperature. The steaks each came with side dishes and vegetables which were very good.

Wife ordered seafood special, delicious. I ordered NY Strip, cooked Pittsburgh. Cooked to perfection, but wife and I were engaged in conversation as we ate, steak got cold. Waitress returned to kitchen for more "fire", warmed up without over cooking, steak was still med rare. Dessert - banana nut pudding, awesome!! Plus, waitress stuck a candle in it and really made it special.

Visit our restaurant in the Historic Seaport and relish the flavors of Old Key West. Savor timeless favorites made with fresh ingredients like Lobster, Conch and Catch of the Day.
I have been to the South Beach Burger Bash featuring the burgers of many famous chefs and the burger from Fisherman's Cafe could easily compete with them! Their fish sandwiches and tacos are from whatever fish comes off the dock which is about 100 yards away. Both are just so delicious, fresh, with the perfect bun and quick service.
This is not an eat-in place. It's a tiny establishment where you order your food at the counter then have a seat on the picnic tables on the sidewalk in front. Eko was really helpful explaining the menu and finding out what we were interested in eating. They bring you the food when it's ready. Price very reasonable. Portions big. There is another famous burger place in Key West, whose name I can't mention, but it beats ANY burger in Key West...seriously.

We serve up delicious Cuban coffee, breakfast, and lunch fare to a large following of fans here in Key West. Come in the morning for Café con Leche or a Cuban Chocolate Mocha, and make sure to grab some breakfast too. Try favorites such as our Key Wester, which is two eggs, cheese, and your choice of ham, bacon, sausage, or pork roll sandwiched between two delicious pieces of pressed Cuban bread. It’s fantastic! Are you ready for lunch? Try our Famous Tuna Burger, our Turkey Club, or the Havana Rice & Beans. If you want to go lighter, order one of our freshly made salads or one of our delicious smoothies made with sweet tropical fruits. We also deliver! Cuban Coffee Queen is open every day, from 6:30 until sunset. Don’t forget to grab a T-shirt or hat while you’re at Cuban Coffee Queen. You’ll wish you had when you see folks walking around town with our famous memorabilia.
Nothing visually special about this small unique 'street side' coffee shop: Cuban Coffee Queen but are the coffees and sandwiches ever good!! You basically order at the counter as there is no where to sit inside but who cares as there are so many places to take your cafe con leche and your Key Wester sandwich outside!
If you're a coffee lover, then you're in for a treat! I would highly recommend making this your morning coffee stop when Key West! Well done Cuban Coffee Queen!

European style high end bistro, serving breakfast and lunch all day. Specializing in crepes and galettes, but also serving breakfast dishes, homemade soups, panini, wraps, salads, quesadillas. Every weekend in addition to our full menu, we have bottomless mimosas and eggs benedict. Delivery and pick up are available.
When we parked and were walking towards the building, I was not real sure if we were making a good choice....the curb appeal wasn’t much. We went in at 12:30 on a Friday. We were fortunate; there was one table for two available and we got it. They quickly came for our drink order and returned quickly and took our order.
My wife had a crepe with Brie, walnuts, and raspberry jam. She loved it! I wanted something small and got a wedge salad with a grilled chicken breast on the side. The food came relatively fast - considering it was packed - and was really good. The service was fantastic!
Since they are 1100 miles from my house I cannot say when I will return, but I would definitely go there again!

One of our tour guides recommended we try Deuce’s Off the Hook. We made a reservation to eat at the bar and are so glad we did! Reservations are a must as the restaurant only seats about 20. The ingredients were super fresh and the staff friendly. I had the pesci pasta and my husband had shrimp and grits. The pasta was homemade, the broth was light, and the seafood was cooked perfectly. My husband’s shrimp and grits were tasty as well. Plenty of shrimp, a nice portion of grits, and ham (enough to add flavor but not overpower). We requested the lobster gnocchi as an appetizer and the kitchen accommodated...While our entries were tasty, the gnocchi absolutely stole the show. Homemade gnocchi, fresh lobster, cheese, and just the amount of butter, garlic, and rich flavor. I cannot tell you how wonderful this was...A bite of heaven! Deuce’s is a quaint restaurant that offers a much-needed break from the flashiness of Duvall Street, and the food is indeed Off the Hook!

I am Italian and more than 30 years in the food business. At Duetto we put "Amore" (Love) in what we do. Our pizza and our gelato respect the traditional Italian recipe.
I spent a lot of time reading reviews from the bottom to the top. I am a certified BBQ Judge for the KCBS and have to review a lot of food every year and I have learned many things the past 12 years and the...MoreHi kpage12180 and thanks for taking time to write this beautiful review. I really appreciate the way that you described Duetto's. Our philosophy is to make simple food in the best way we can and thank you for noticing that.
