Kelleys Island is both a village in Erie County, Ohio, United States, and the island which it fully occupies in Lake Erie. The area was originally known by the British as Sandusky Island, and later officially designated by the U.S. as Island Number 6 and Cunningham Island. It was renamed Kelleys Island in 1840 by brothers Datus and Irad Kelley, who had purchased nearly the entire island.

We were there when it was very busy. About what you might expect from an Island pub. Good seafood, the clams are pretty good for clam eaters, the fries are nothing to brag about. The Turkey club was MASSIVE! Bustling, but decent food.

Rock, Baker, Sippers (RBS) is a small coffee shop/bakery downtown. There is no inside seating, but they have 2-3 tables outside, and part of being on an island is enjoying the outdoors. I went to RBS twice in two days, which in itself says something. The first day after a bike ride I had a bottled juice and a cake doughnut. I had heard their cake doughnuts were great. I thought it was okay; I've had better and I've had worse. But the other baked goods and coffees caught my eye, so I came back the next day and had a Latte and a blueberry muffin. The muffin was delicious. The latte was as good as any I've had. For the size of the shop they have a pretty wide selection of baked goods, and it all looked good. If I had more time on Kelleys Island I would definitely go back until I had tried everything.

Gotta try the peach or strawberry sundaes. Kinda expensive, but you get a lot, Try them with whipped cream and nuts. For a change of pace you could try the turtle sundae, although no actual turtles are used...just chocolate and nuts and stuff. Still, worthwhile.

Breakfast served 8 AM- 12 PM daily. Lunch and dinner served 12 PM-10 PM daily. Serving freshly made sweet and savory crepes, sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, sliders, flatbreads, tacos and dinner entrees, as well as specialty coffee drinks, beer, wine and craft cocktails.
Based on a cab driver's suggestion, my wife and I ate here. Their menu was nothing special. The place was a clean restaurant, and the server was very nice. But they could be better with their menu. We ended up ordering two sandwiches, which were thin and not filling at all. I don't know how they expected people to get full from thin sandwiches that are overpriced. Since we thought the place was known for its crepes, we tried their Nutella crepe. It was just okay, nothing that we would rave about. We were not really happy after our meal. After we got back to Sandusky, we ended up having another meal (two hours later).

A late-summer rain shower caused us to seek shelter in the Wine Company's restaurant and it was a fortunate experience. The menu is somewhat limited in scope, but certainly not in wholesomeness and quality. I was served one of the best garden salads I've eaten this year. We found the local wine delightful, the food delicious and the cost represented a real value.

Happened upon this place during the off season when most places are closed. We stopped for lunch and were so pleased with the quality of the homemade food and excellent, friendly service. The soups are wonderful and we had the seafood and the potato soup. Also a 1/2 of a BLT and a full classic Reuben. The sandwiches were also excellent and served with a pickle and bag of kettle chips. We were not able to try the homemade pies but we'll be back another time to try different items on their extensive menu and also try the breakfast. I'm sure it's busy in the summer, but a great place to go in the off season with no wait.

Casual Island dinning at its finest! Pasquales Cafe is a family friendly restaurant with fantastic views of Put-in-Bay harbor and the historic downtown. An island tradition where visitors and locals meet to enjoy the best all American breakfasts on the island. Pasquales Cafe also serves full service lunch and dinner menus featuring Italian and American meals.
After reading the reviews, we knew this was the place we wanted to eat breakfast at. Julie was our waitress and she was great. Even after it started filling up and getting busier she was still coming around to check on us. The reviews do not lie! The food was great! It's a very quaint little restaurant, and we loved it. We felt that the prices were reasonable. The menu had a lot of variety to choose from. We'll return again next visit!

From scratch, made to order. Locally sourced including four gardens on premise. Bier Garten in the front yard serving Austrian and German beer, Bavarian pretzels and Brats.
Basil mojito highly recommended. Rueben balls were good. Salads were fresh and good. Perch tacos pretty good. Might prefer just the perch dinner. Everything here is really good.
