Kāneʻohe is a census-designated place (CDP) included in the City and County of Honolulu and located in Hawaiʻi state District of Koʻolaupoko on the island of Oʻahu. In the Hawaiian language, kāne ʻohe means "bamboo man". According to an ancient Hawaiian story a local woman compared her husband's cruelty to the sharp edge of cutting bamboo; thus the place was named Kāneʻohe or "Bamboo man". The population was 34,597 at the 2010 census. Kāneʻohe is the largest of several communities along Kāneʻohe Bay and one of the two largest residential communities on the windward side of Oʻahu (the other is Kailua). The commercial center of the town is spread mostly along Kamehameha Highway.

Interesting architecture at this well-staffed up scale restaurant. The Prime Rib is absolutely scary (it'll feed a family for a week), but that seems to be the signature dish. They've also got fresh-off-the-boat fish. I had the Moonfish, and it was excellent, good salads too. You can walk off some of the extra calories at the adjacent Haiku gardens and pond, quite nice!

This bakery has been around forever, never had been disappointed in any thing I've gotten there and the help are so polite and eager to help. Not a whole lot to say other than you will not be unhappy with anything you get there. It's an older place but very clean and friendly.

I had garlic chicken (wasn’t feeling seafood that day) which I really liked and the husband had fish n’ chips, but he wasn’t very impressed, also he really disliked the tarter sauce. I still have high hopes for the other food and we plan to try again.

Wonderful deserts at an incredibly reasonably price. The snow ice was unusual as was the Acari. However, both were fabulous and left everyone wanting for more. This is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Not much atmosphere but the food makes up for it.

Hawaii, OAHU / Honolulu, with a rental car, we ended our "pilgrimage" to this paradise that is only more beautiful than our Island of Magic, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina / Brazil because it is located in the USA, and where it is Park, remains Park, where there is permanent preservation, is really permanent; unlike our Island, where councilors change their laws, eliminating any urban planning, for example, areas defined as APP (Permanent Preservation Area), many of them are altered, allowing construction in an area previously considered "non aedificandi".
I am a "suspect" in commenting on this singular Island, because every time I return here, I feel blessed by God, for PARADISE to return and many do not have the chance to meet him and / or once in Paradise !!!

This was not our first time here, however it was our most disappointing. I believe due to the rain, we didn’t get freshly made chicken. The pork and the rest of the food on our plate was very good. Next time we will only stop...MoreAloha Todd! We are sorry to hear that the chicken didn't meet your expectations. We are constantly pulling chicken off the grill all day, so I can assure you it was recently cooked. We hope you will give us another chance!

Really enjoyed the vibes of this place. Ordinary breakfast food. Staff not overly friendly but not rude. Lots of local presence which can be a good sign. No real complaints but overall pretty ordinary. Parking was slightly difficult (lucky to find street parking not too far away). Restaurant has limited parking spaces and depending on the day you go, you may wait for a table. Only ate here once but wouldn't be opposed to revisiting.

do not go out of your way to eat here, it is fast food. The coffee ($4!) was horrible.
If you are on tour and this is convenient for you then eat here. We will not be back.
We do enjoy the fresh meat from Kualoa ranch sold at the local farmers market.
This restaurant/shop is a tourist trap.

Were talking about this place in the car wondering where in Kaneohe it was right as we passed it - turned around and totally worth it! We ordered the Kulolo with ice cream and were not disappointed. This is our new added spot for stopping with visitors while going north shore, for sure.

It's solid. Kind of a hole in the wall, my kind of place. Didn't blow us away but it was good. Fairly priced by Hawaiian standards.
