Stopped in to this diner and found the staff and owner to be super friendly. Lots of options on the menu, no one in our group had any complaints with what they ordered. Our server did a excellent job for only being her second day. We will definitely make another stop when we are riding in the area!

I haven't had a burger for >3 years but I guess this was the place to break the spell. I had Dave's burger (apparently smoked by the Smokehouse across the street), which was superb. Fries could have been a bit crispier. Friendly and attentive service, good beer and, importantly - patio in the back has a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for a later afternoon. Can't imagine a better place to refuel after all-day hike in High Uintas.

"Simple food done right" is our motto and Chef/Owner, Gabriel stands behind each dish that is served. Want a great Ruben, an awesome omelet, tasty sweet potato fries? Then we're the place for you! We also offer a quinoa salad, homemade soups and hand cut fries - there's something for everyone - we even serve beer and wine. We're here to serve 7 days a week!
It's really nice to find a place where you feel comfortable, enjoy good cooking, and have the added advantage of a great wait staff. This is what the Mirror Lake Diner offers. I had chicken fried steak while my wife enjoyed fish. It was a...MoreThanks so much for your review, glanceable you enjoyed your meal! Yes, that silly sign is required by Utah State Law and we agree it's pretty confusing. We're happy to be able to serve our patrons a selection of beers and wines.

We are closing the month of April. Thank you for your support, we'll see you in May!
Service and food wonderful!! I am a southern girl so it's so nice to find a place like home here in utah! We love the biscuit and gravy! Nice flavor with herb seasoning. Grits are good as well -with added herbs. Bacon was crisp and delicious. Love this place and it never disappoints!!

Best burgers in Utah! Just tried my first one the other day. It's a drugstore with an ice cream counter, sells cards, Mormon books, camping equipment and collectibles. Plus guitar music and sodas. I look forward to writing about it for you.
The shakes are really good - a bit pricey, but really good. The hamburgers are also quite good. But the fries were some of the worst I have ever had. And the onion rings were definitely the worst I have ever had. Do you self a favor and just get a burger and shake. The service is also quite slow.

Overall, not a bad experience, but quite pricey for diner food. This restaurant is more of a diner/cafe than the fine dining restaurant the prices suggest at $20-$25+ for most plates. The food is good, with a decent variety. Service was lacking (we only saw our server once after our order, and that was to give us the bill), and one of us received the wrong meal (but didn't return it because we didn't see the server again). Overall, good food, but not up to the price.

Their pizza has only the best of ingredients and their service is excellent. This place is a great place to eat. They have great Ice Cream and other items, but their signature is the pizza.. Fresh Mozzarella Cheese!!....and lots of it!

We stopped here for a quick bite and ended up ordering a to go sandwich to eat on the plane home. Price is good, the food is fresh and there are many great combinations of sandwiches to choose from. Great service and a comfortable place to sit and eat. This would be a good place to eat after a hike in the woods.

Came in for lunch once and had tacos. It was just shredded beef on tortillas with shredded lettuce. Pretty bland and not what I expected. No onion, no cilantro, no lime. I got a side salad instead of rice and beans. The salad was shredded iceberg lettuce obviously out of a bag with a few diced tomatoes on top, pretty embarrassing. The salsa bar maybe had 3 salsas to choose from. The service was slow considering there were maybe 3 tables of people. At least they were very friendly and the place was very clean. I did give them another shot and went for dinner. Same slow service. However my burrito was actually very good, but just not enough to redeem the place. I ordered a beer and waited almost 20 minutes to get it because none of the employees were old enough to serve it to me. I always give a place a second chance, but they failed to impress.
