Stopped here for supper while doing the US12 Garage Sale weekend. We ate here one time before a few years ago and it was very good. Yesterday, it was also a great stop! Family oriented. The BBQ pulled pork was very, very tender and perfectly done. My only complaints (minor): the bun was not sturdy enough and the home-cooked potato chips were a bit overdone (otherwise it would have been 5 stars). Someday we need to try something else on the menu! But that will be hard - that pulled pork and yummy BBQ sauce were SO GOOD!!
Heads up - we got there early, around 5PM. By the time we left, the line was very long to get a table.

Full service mid scale casual Large menu with daily specials. Full bar and beer and wine list. All homemade food including homemade desserts & real gelato
My daughter and I had dinner here. I had the stir fry and it was excellent. The veggies were fresh and not overcooked. My daughter had their chicken specialty on pesto and it was equally delicious and very generous portion. I had the Pumpkin gelato and it is was excellent. The cherry on the cake for this was perhaps the best Cosmopolitan martini that I have ever had. Our waiter was very nice a probably should be a bar tender as he was the one that made it. Perfection!

It Is Mainly An Ice Cream Place
WOW, we can all scream for this ice cream. So many flavors--yikes--decisions, decisions have to keep going back but my favorite was the coffee & toffee, my husband preferred the black cherry. And the name--it is just too cute and soooo fitting--"Udder Side". The cony dogs are great as well. Service was quick when we were there and the gal was pleasant as we tried to make up our minds as to which flavor to get. The scoops were generous.

Here's a gem of a coffee shop tucked across the street from the historic county court house in downtown Hillsdale. All of the usual coffee and tea selections are available (and some intriguing, delicious house specialties) with two huge advantages: 1) very friendly staff 2) great prices. Don't overlook the pastries and sandwiches as they shine right along with the coffee.

Four of us went here for a late lunch and the food was great! Fish tacos, BLT soup, prime rib sandwich, pastrami - all were very good. Can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. Prices were very reasonable for lunch. Service was fast. Liked the atmosphere as well.

This is a small mexican restaurant in Hillsdale, Michigan, but it has great food for great prices.
First time visit since they expanded/remodeled. I like the fajitas Jalisco. There is lots to eat and the quality is excellent. The chips and salsa are quite good although I prefer a chunky salsa. The service was fast even though they were quite busy. There are many choices on the menu so we'll be back soon to try something new.

In search of lunch on a rainy October day we found this wonderful little restaurant housed in a late 19th century farmhouse. The ambiance was quaint, pleasant, and friendly. The food was very good, traditional but with a twist or two. The staff was professional but friendly, quick to smile. Overall, I was quite impressed and will add this restaurant to the list of favorites.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Mix of adults at the bar, watching SEC football and talking. 3 tables with young kids and teens. GREAT draft beer selection. I ordered the raspberry beer. Not too sweet-just right. Smoked prime rib sandwich was tasty- the meat was like butter. Fries were meh. Salad was crispy with great bleu cheese dressing. Mozzarella sticks weren't over-or-undercooked and not too much breaking. Same with the cod fish. Overall, better than average bar food, and great draft selections.

Best food in the county. This small diner which is family friendly gives large quantities of lip smacking offerings. They have daily specials some of which are traditional Thai food. You won't be disappointed if you vist this small deli...they close at 2 however!

This place is fun. It reminds me of when I lived near Detroit and my parents would take us to the drive up restaurants like this place.
Food was what you'd expect. Nothing amazing, but the fun and nostalgia make up for that! It wasn't bad food by any means, but how high can you rate a hot dog and a root beer float?
Like many other local places, there are better places to eat, but this was fun, with friendly service and passable junk food.
