My husband goes to Roxy Cafe every Saturday morning. He enjoys the people who work there and they have great food. It is a family owned business and they have a family atmosphere. They treat him and his friend Bob like family.

While everything about Klavon's is excellent, the pizza is the star of the show. Many say Klavon's stuffed pizza, an original take on the Chicago deep dish, rivals the greatest pizzas in the windy city -- some claim it's even better. One thing is certain: pizza lovers travel regularly from all parts of southern Michigan and beyond just to eat at Klavon's.
Progressive. Hip. Fun. From the moment you walk in,you feel like your having an " out of jackson experience ". Im sure it will continue. More locations in the future i hope. No franchises. Just same model, and new locations!

This is a local gem. It's a low key, slightly dated restaurant, but that's fine because what they save in overhead goes right to the customer by getting a top quality steak for relatively inexpensive. We split the Delmonico and it melts in your mouth. The Porterhouse was equally delicious and tender. A new menu item to me was "Stuffed Steak". Picture 2 Ribeye's sandwiched together with seafood or other delicacies in between. Oh my!! I thought I was in steak Heaven.
This place is ALWAYS packed with at least an hour wait, but it is well worth the wait. Plus they have a Meat Display if you want to get a slab of meat and take it home to cook it.
The service is fantastic, considering how busy they are. They serve Beer & Wine and I think they have a Kid's menu. My Grandson ordered a Sirloin and loved it. I snuck a bite and it was very tender and tasty.
Nothing is bad about this place. It's definitely an all time favorite. One of those places that you go to where you order a second meal just to take home with you. The prices are that affordable.

Firmly planted in downtown Jackson, we set out to be a focal point for urban rebirth. Designed to be the modern incarnation of ye old Public Houses, Grand River Brewery serves as a gathering spot for families, friends, lovers, politicians, and entertainers. We have hosted birthdays, retirements, fundraisers, political rallies, television shows, pig roasts, concerts, wakes, rehearsal dinners, farewell lunches, intimate engagements, weddings, bible studies, worship services, office parties, and private gourmet dinners. Not only have we created an atmosphere for larger gatherings but also a spot where locals can gather to have a couple beers with friends. We started with an 85 year old building that was empty and in a state of disrepair. Outdated, neglected and covered in graffiti, we totally renovated it from the ground up. We installed a new floor, windows, electrical, lighting, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, paint, kitchen, column vodka still and a 15 barrel steam powered brew house. Decorated in a steampunk motif (think Willy Wonka meets Mad Max) and warm colors, Grand River Brewery is a truly unique space.
We stopped here for dinner on our way to the Nite Lites at Michigan Speedway, and we are very glad that we did! Our server, Joel, helped us choose our beers, and answered our meal questions. We got the onion rings, which were tasty, but some were a little under-cooked. We still ate them, because the sauce was amazing. I got the pulled pork with sweet potato fries, which were more like a whole sectioned, then fried, sweet potato. The pork was delicious, and the sweet potatoes were unusual and very, very tasty. My daughter had the Rueben and brussels sprouts, which were also delicious and unusual. My husband had the pulled pork and he loved his sandwich, too. The atmosphere was busy and friendly, and we will definitely make plans to eat here again.

Fantastic place for dinner. Prices to portion size is very fair, especially the fried ice cream. Be warned, it's the size of a basketball. Everything we ordered was delicious and we would absolutely return if we were in the area.

This is for their new location on Longfellow Ave. We stopped in for lunch because of the good TripAdvisor reviews. Wife & I had the Red Snapper fish Tacos. They were amazing! My son had a meat taco, forgot the name. He said it was great. We also ordered the fresh Guacamole side. The refried black beans were good & tasty. The salsa had a nice kick & the fresh nachos were hot & crispy. Our lovely server was Tasha. She was very polite, professional & an absolute sweetheart. Always there for us. Great food & great service, that's what it's all about! We will be back and also give their other locations a visit...

I met up with some cousins and an old friend from HS here and we had a great time devouring appetizers and sandwiches and beverages. I totally missed the entrance from Francis St. and drove by it on Oak St. the first time because the sign that says entrance is on the opposite side of the building where the entrance really is. But do drop in and you will be surprised at the level of service and quality of the food at this little place.

I was taken here as a customer by a supplier and have never been to a Texas road house before, I was not disappointed in the slightest, friendly staff, great decor, really good food and I love the free peanuts, I particularly like the approach of chuck the shells on the floor. Brilliant!!!
