Isleton is a city in Sacramento County, California, United States. The population was 804 at the 2010 census, down from 828 at the 2000 census. It is located on Andrus Island amid the slough wetlands of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, on the eastern edge of the Rio Vista Gas Field. The city has many preserved 19th-century era storefronts along its main street, some of which show distinct Chinese influences.

We have driven past Peter's for a few years, never really stopping.
Recently, however, I have run into several people who really recommended the restaurant.
Today we left on the drive to see for ourselves. I read through the reviews and discovered a Chinese ownership, which made me somewhat skeptical about a 'steakhouse'.
I ordered a steak sandwich and my wife ordered a prime rib dip sandwich,
Both were absolutely outstanding, substantial, moist and easy to eat.
The service by the owners son was outstanding.
The decor is a little strange for a steakhouse, but the bottom line is always the food.
I will come back again....absolutely.
This was worth the drive

We had a Rueben and a chicken bbq sandwich. Both were excellent, both came on a big platter with ample sides. The sidewinder fries are unique and good. Even though the place was packed, our service was spot on. Nice view over water. Be prepared to take home food unless you are a big eater.

Get there early if you want to be sure of getting your favorite treat as they run out of things. This is a nice place for a light lunch too. Give it a try.

No 5 star restaurant but has been around many, many years selling good wholesome family cuisine. Not that many tables so you may have to wait but has good bar. Lots of interesting memorability on the walls and great cap selection on the ceiling, you may want to donate one if you have one that's different.

Great home-cooked meals at affordable prices. Full bar and theme nights. Great breakfast on the weekend with a steak and eggs special for $7.45. They have indoor and outdoor seating (unfortunately, not overlooking the delta)
Twice a year on Easter and Mother's Day, they have a Sunday brunch with so many yummy options. The servers keep coming back to refill even after you have paid the bill which is always a bonus!

My family chooses Tortilla Flats out of all the local restaurants as they love the food. The family chops and cooks and the food is homemade. The salsa they make themselves is our favorite and comes out with chips. They will refill. The family is always friendly. We get good service. This last visit my son and I had fajitas that were very good. A little less fat when cooking would be appreciated. My grandson always gets the $4.95 burrito and it is huge . He also loves their milkshakes. The waffles with strawberries looks delicious. Homemade chicken and rice soup is good. A very nice local restaurant. Don’t look for ambiance!

THE BEST BURGERS ON THE DELTA! We have a Tiki/ Rock and Roll themed Bar and Grill with a FULL BAR, old school arcades, boat parking, pool table all ON THE WATER!! We're awesome! Come visit us!
We ate tonight at the new Lighthouse Bar & Grill. They've only been open two weeks and there were no customers when we arrived tonight (Monday), but others came while we were there. They've been open the last two weekends and the parking area has been packed, and now we see why. It's a salads and burger place but the burgers were GREAT and creative and everything was fresh and tasty. We wish these guys nothing but great success!

Conveniently located right on highway 12 in Rio Vista, the burgers are fine here. Not flame broiler but grilled. Fries were crispy and shakes were just ok. Chocolate is made from chocolate ice cream, not vanilla with chocolate sauce.
When busy you'll have to wait a bit as this place is popular with the locals. Burger, fries and shake will lighten your wallet by a little over $13. Decent choice if driving across the valley. Cheers.

After many recommendations from friends, four of us went to Busaba's on a Sunday evening. Showing up just 45 minutes before closing, the restaurant was empty and we were greeted immediately by the owner and a waiter. Drinks arrived promptly and the food shortly after. The food was very tasty and not over spiced as it can be in some restaurants. Our friends are on the timid side when it comes to heat and they were thrilled. The waiter always brings spices to heat your dinner up if you so desire...which my wife and I did. Starting with the very tasty Thai Spring Rolls and the Beef Satay, we knew we were in for a treat. The Pad Thai was the best my wife has ever had, our friends each had the Pad Kra Pao and the Pad King and couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I had the Pad Ke Mauw which uses a wider noodle than most of the Pad dishes and was new to me. My dinner was very tasty, plentiful and satisfying. We could not have wished for anything more!!! During dinner the owner, and husband of the chef, comes to your table and greets you and talks about the food, spices, and history of the restaurant. GO!....GO NOW!!

I hunt and fish so I loved it --- some won't. My buddie found this place so we just had to see it. I enjoyed the story about how this place came to be. We had a drink or two while looking over the many game mounts thru out the building. Many were eating lunch. It is a piece of history, of which I am glad to have seen along with hoping to show others as time passes.
