Old style Main Street home cooking. Had the fried chicken, lima beans, mac and cheese, collard greens, fried green tomatoes and topped off with peach cobbler. Co-worker had the fried catfish (not to heavy of a corn meal crust) with 2 sides. Everything was as good as expected and it was like travelling back in time to my hometown. The cobbler was the only thing that was not quite up tk the rest of the meal

Hubs and I stopped in at the Golden Rule Barbeque-Irondale just for their great BBQ and weren't disappointed! I had the Pork BBQ sandwich with cole slaw. The sandwich was great but I prefer creamy cole slaw with mayo and this is just vinegar so I put the slaw on top of the shredded pork and it was really good! Hubs had the Chili Dogs and Mac and Cheese which he really enjoyed. The pies are showcased and they all looked great!

Hamburger heaven was started by the original owner of Jack's Hamburgers. He sold Jacks, but couldn't stay out of the business. Fresh meat. Always cooked perfectly!

Bringing the Gulf to Birmingham. We are a casual, quick paced family seafood restaurant. Based out of Gulf Shores, our company is rapidly expanding throughout the south! Come join us for the freshest seafood around while enjoying our famous Bushwackers and Basketcases(includes alcohol) We offer inside and outside dining with a full service bar including 1 flat screen television that can be viewed from almost any inside table.
This experience was great again. Thanks to Manager Ryan and Server Jordan, Food was great. Shrimp Tacos were great and you can't beat the shrimp slaw, Service was great. Jordan handled a very rude customer with respect. I can't believe someone would question everything on the menu, order and then leave saying there was nothing here she wanted, How rude!
Outside seating is the best!
Thanks Ryan and Jordan for another great experience

Enjoyed the entire experience-be prepared to wait if you dont have reservations. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they made it very special-let them know when making the reservations and anything extra you want or need. I had a pasta dish while partner had steak-perfect!!!! The deserts were great and huge. The staff was wonderful and made for a great night.

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions but on this visit we tried the mac and cheese stuffed egg rolls with sweet & spicy dipping sauce. All I can say is WOW. We have tried several of the other appetizers but this is my favorite. This is always our go to restaurant when visiting Birmingham, The food and service can't be beat!

I visit this establishment regularly. It's a convenient location from where I work, and a great place to grab a quick lunch. They're always busy, but you never have to wait very long for service. Burgers are top notch...complete with fresh fixings, and they'll do it how you like. I like my burger with a little hot dog sauce on it, the rest built all the way. This place is comparable with my all time fave hot dog place in Homewood. If you can get close to that, you are an A in my book. Visit this place, you won't regret it.

you need to track this place down and add it. Great food in the Avondale district of Birmingham. Their phone is 205-591-1409
This place will not win awards for its fancy style but it may for the food.We sampled several menu choices- a fried green tomato BLT that was stacked high with artisanal bacon along with cheese grits and sweet potato fries. We ended with their over the top banana pudding. They do have a few tables outside- on a nice day those would be the place to sit.
