Locally owned and operated for 21 years. Homemade food, priced right and plenty of it!
We would always enjoy lunch here every time we came "Up North" to visit friends, but the last time we were there, things were different. I used to love the burgers, were fresh, not frozen and very juicy, not any more. My favorite olive burger was dry, even though I ordered it cooked medium. I'm guessing that they're now using frozen patties. It looks like maybe there are new owners, and things have changed, but not for the better. We won't be back.

My family and I head to TC every year for our yearly vacation but we always make sure we stop at Moomers. Moomers is TC homemade ice cream made from cows in TC. All ingredients are local and the farm is a lot of fun. It’s a fun spot to take the kiddos. Super fun and relaxing too. Definitely make a stop here next time your in the area. The ice cream is fantastic and fresh, views are amazing and the activities and people are fun and helpful.

Bud's is a cozy place to bring your family and friends to enjoy "life's simple pleasures" Stop in for locally sourced breakfast, lunch, dinner or just to grab a home made snack from our bakery. We feature a full espresso bar, hand dipped premium ice cream and soft serve custard. Enjoy the fireplace in the winter and the porch in the summer. Welcome to Up North and Bud's!
You'd think an eatery that doubles as an ice cream bar and small gift shop couldn't possibly have good food, but you'd be wrong. Apparently they can do it all here! The food is excellent and prices are reasonable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and, best of all, you get to enjoy them while eating outside on the covered porch! I highly recommend the grilled cheese and pesto sandwich; easily the best sandwich I've ever tasted.

Grawn is a small place between Interlochen, MI and Traverse City, MI
We frequently go to Little Reds to get the kids ice cream. They have the classic hand dipped favors like Superman, soft serve and a special machine that adds different flavor to soft serve on-the-fly. Their portions are VERY generous. Be careful if you ask for a large, it will likely topple over...even if it is in a bowl. My son said he got a banana split there and it was enormous. Place is clean and staff is friendly.

Very wonderful small town restaurant. Very limited seating but the good news is that they are adding on. They have a special relationship with the brewery next door so it's a win win situation for both establishments. Order your food here and it will be delivered to you at the brewery. Their portions are very generous and the staff are always pleasant regardless of how busy they are. Their wraps are enormous - the Greek salad ad dressing may be the best I've had. Th e salad is a beautiful work of art - even in a take out container. There mac and cheese also excellent.

We live close by, but it's been years since our last visit. What a great dinner! Portions were filling, and the food was excellent! My parents frequent here often, they love the ribs, and the fish & chips. As a pasta lover, I tried the new Seafood Mac & Cheese.... Amazing!! I've had this dish at every restaurant in the TC area, this is the best!! Thank you Hofbrau for adding this pasta dish to your menu! A full bar, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We will certainly come back to the Hofbrau more often!

On our week long Michigan vacation, we hit a rainy day and needed some indoor fun. We found Incredible Moe's on the web and decided to check it out.
I should start and say we didn't eat there. We just went for fun. So I cannot say how the food was.
The fun, was, well, fun. They had an arcade, bowling, laser tag, and a laser maze. Enough to keep us busy for a few hours.
We went on a week day, so it wasn't very busy. We had no problems with any of the games, everything worked.
Laser Tag was fun, but we would have liked to see more people there to make the game interesting. You can only do so much with an adult and a couple of kids. But we made the best of it. The guns were accurate.
Bowling was fun. At the time of visit, they had 10 lanes, but construction was going on to add a few more. We had some issues with out lane, but they were more than helpful in getting us fixed up. The scoring is done on android devices so there's some interactivity my son really got into.
The bar / food area we big. We grabbed a couple of drinks. It was nice there's a bar inside so I could grab a beer.
In all, it's a good place to spend a rainy day.

The original Grand Traverse Pie Company location! Our first Pie Shop opened in July of 1996 by company founders, Mike and Denise Busley. The shop is conveniently located on West Front Street in Traverse City, Michigan, just a short walk from downtown and a block from West Grand Traverse Bay. Our open-air design has the kitchen in full view of our customers. There's comfortable seating for those who would like to sit and relax with a slice of pie and a cup of gourmet coffee. We also have great lunch selections, with quiches, soups, pot pie by the slice, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. We serve espresso, smoothies, and a variety of homemade baked goods.
Love Grand Traverse Pie co. We love the pot pies and all the variety of dessert pies. I can never decide which one I want! We come from Fl on an annual winter trip and always have lunch here one day during our visit. This last visit there were 34 in our group and GTPC took care of us without hesitation. I called ahead to warn them of a large party (and to ensure adequate pot pies to feed the hungry mass!) and they had everything under control for us. Set aside the reserved room, ensured our pot pies were ready and not sold to other customers and they gave excellent, exceptional customer service during a lunch rush!

My family and I were on vacation in the Traverse City area and were in the mood for pizza. The owner of our bed and breakfast told us a new place had just opened 10 minutes down the road with some of the best pizza he had ever had. Sauce is a pizza place inside Incredible Mo's (Think Dave & Busters). They have one of the best pizza's I have ever had! They have quite a few specialty pizzas (BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Steak & Potato, Cheeseburger and Fries, etc.) We ordered pepporoni for the kids and buffalo chicken for us. Words cannot describe how good it was! The crust was incredible and the quality of the products on the pizza was as good as I have ever seen. The wait staff was friendly, and the kids had a blast playing in the arcade afterwards. The play area is very clean and all the staff was very friendly.

Dilberts has a great diner feel. I enjoyed the Patty Melt burger very much. It was huge! The price was very reasonable, especially given the portion size. I'll be back!
