Seven sushi chefs handle a great and extended menu with excellent ingredients, all in a great (a bit noisy) kind of college experience. The sushi is amazing, lots a variety in rolls and great sashimi. The service is perfect, a gentleman that is either the owner or a senior manager supervises for excellence. The prices are very reasonable, the drinks also are very reasonable in price. Must visit! Worth the 5 stars!!

At In-N-Out Burger, quality is everything. Stop by to enjoy our menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and shakes. In-N-Out makes fast food the old fashioned way.
They make a great, inexpensive hamburger and fries that are always good. I always stop at one when I come to California. This one was no exception. The burger was great.
Limited menu, fast service, and it is always a nice treat.
I will be back

First of all...BEAUTIFUL location!
Everything is DELICIOSO! Breakfast taco was to die for! On our second visit in the same week, we took out food across the street to the beach and had a breakfast picnic.
The weather was glorious, the palm trees were majestic, & energy were exciting and peaceful. Everyone can grab a piece of paradise and feed their soul!

The Sugar Shack is a fantastic little gem on Main Street. We dined outside for an early lunch. Each family member enjoyed their meal. I would highly recommend the Charger sandwich, chicken with bacon, cheese and avocado. The staff is terrific and bonus points for being a Christian establishment.

Best restaurant in Huntington Beach... never disappoints. Ambiance, particularly upstairs, is excellent. Josh, our favorite waiter, always makes us feel special. We always select one of his suggestions and he never lets us down. The best Pear/Gorgonzola Salad you'll find anywhere started our meal (as always). Wife had delicious Chilean Sea Bass, center cut and perfectly cooked. I had a phenomenal Diver Scallops & Shrimp plate served on bed of freshly made pasta and vegetables... Amazing! Two of the best tasting scallops I've ever had and the shrimp was incredible... tasted more like Lobster! Yet another fantastic evening at Cucina Alessa... I highly recommend this restaurant.

On the sand at the base of the Huntington Beach Pier, enjoy memorable dining, endless ocean views, and simpler times at Duke's restaurant and Barefoot Bar. Relax and take in the view while you enjoy the Hawaiian beach house ambiance and savor the freshest seafood and prime steaks, uniquely prepared and thoughtfully served.
Great food with a fabulous view. What more could you ask for ? Perhaps a really good mauhi-tai. The servers here are top notch. They know the menu and seem to sense what you would like. Bubba is a case in point. He was patient and professional, and made sure we were happy along the way. Presentation and promptness did not disappoint. Please try and save room for dessert. This is the best way to cap off a day in beautiful Huntington Beach.

We were staying at the hotel and had reservations for a large party. I was really surprised at how dead it was on a Saturday night. Nobody sat at the bar and only a few tables had guests. We were shown to a large table outside and had 1 server with a couple of helpers for a party of 16. Right off the bat, the server had an attitude. It seemed like we were inconveniencing him by being there. We made the mistake of asking if we can have separate bills. He told us flat out "NO, it will mess up the kitchen". Weird....we had a party of 19 the night before at Northwoods Inn and they offered to split the check and it didn't mess up their the kitchen. We didn't get water for quite some time and had to ask multiple times for bread. The menu was limited and pricey (but, we expected the pricey part given the location). The food took a very long time, it was meh and lukewarm. A few of us got our food at least 5 minutes after everyone else and they got a couple of orders mixed up. No apology from the server, just attitude. This is surprising given they had very few diners in the restaurant. Very disappointing for such a lovely hotel and location.

Celebrated a birthday dinner at Matsu's Japanese Restaurant. There is a choice of the "Dining" or the "Grill" Rooms. We chose the "Grill" room to enjoy the teppan-yaki performance: delicious meal! We were a party of four:: two ordered lobster/ steak combination., two ordered shrimp/ chicken combination ... it was a lot of food, along with a bowl of fried rice, miso soup, and "namasu" pickled cucumber. From the front desk service, to the servers, to the teppan-yaki chef, everyone was polite and professional. The manager at the front desk was personable, helpful, and accommodating (as we waited for one in our party to arrive from Hermosa Beach on the very busy freeway). In celebration of our birthday person, an ice-cream dessert was brought over with a candle and song; and, a group photo presented at the end of the meal, inserted in a heart-shaped card saying "Happy Birthday." It was a memorable evening at Matsu's, that still tries to maintain the authentic Japanese atmosphere and experience (even outfitting the waitresses in kimono).
