Go to the Twist several times a year. It is only open in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The treats are excellent and made from ice milk. But if I didn't tell you, you would think it was rich ice cream. Now for the down side. They only offer small and large, no medium size. Second, it is very pricey compared to other choices. And lastly, there is a single drive up line that you cannot order until you are at the window where you get the treats/food. I have seen more than a dozen cars in line and you can expect to be there for 30 to 45 minutes. They really need to set up a pre-order speaker or window if they want to have a drive thru. If you see more than 4 or 5 cars in line, park and go in.

No website but here is an article in the local paper back in 08' I LOVE This place! and want to share. http://www.postcrescent.com/article/20081126/APC05/81126095/Dining-out-Black-Otter
This timeless supper club is what you would expect for the most part, with a couple of surprises and a profoundly disappointing seafood entrée. The large salad bar is loaded with anything you can imagine, including an Italian ravioli soup that was flavored with chili powder (that cup of soup went left unfinished.) The clam chowder was another original version that would have been much better had they stuck to the classic New England recipe, still it was better than the Tex-Mex infused Italian soup. Finally, the broiled scallops were among the poorest tasting excuse for a scallop that I have ever had to endure, for a price of $18. Soaked in a lemon butter sauce and dusted with paprika, they were completely tasteless and obviously prepared by someone who has never experienced what scallops should taste like. They were so bad that most of them went uneaten. There was just no point in consuming them. The beef tenderloin was excellent, and at a price of $33 it should be. Our total bill for these two entrées, a glass of wine, an old-fashioned (cocktail) and a diet Pepsi was $67.00. Really a ridiculous price for a dinner that was overall not even mediocre. The secret to dining at the Black Otter is knowing what to order and as I found out with the scallops, what to stay away from.

Right in downtown New London is a brightly decorated place with very good and inexpensive Mexican food. Ingredients are fresh and the menu is extensive. My family's favorites are carne asada, carnitas and casada chicken fajita. Full bar and good margaritas also add to the experience. Worth the drive from neighboring cities.

Wow! Must stop in Dale at Still Wally's Still for breakfast on either Saturday or Sunday. It's busy so be prepared to wait. It's worth it! The people are friendly and accommodating. The eclectic atmosphere is something to see. A visit to the restroom is greeted by Elvis....love the bloody Mary's and the beer selection is above average. Sitting at the back bar is the best. Saturday and Sunday breakfast menu is amazing! Love fish for breakfast with poached eggs (perfectly done) and American fries. Flavors are perfect! One of the best surprises is they bring fresh homemade toast and jam to the table before your meal.. perfectly toasted and buttered, amazing! I had rainbow trout that bursted with flavor. My husbands omelette was delicious. Tried my friend's blackened halibut and that was incredible. The French toast looked scrumptious as well. I will be returning for my birthday breakfast and many breakfasts to come. It's a must stop. Again, be prepared to wait a bit. Totally worth it!

We are passionate about food and people. We are committed to connecting ourselves and our guests to the food that we eat, offering from scratch and made to order dishes in an atmosphere that is welcoming and familiar. We source from our "backyard" when possible, supporting local and WI made / grown products. We work hard together, we give back generously to the community that supports us and we have fun while doing it. We will never stop trying to be the best we can be for our guests and for each other.
Excellent food served here, unique brunch and lunch plates. But the line and wait is always long, and there is little space to wait where you’re not in the flow of the staff. Twice we’ve eaten here and chose to eat at the bar to avoid waiting 40 minutes. Very trendy space but it’s loud so not easy to carry on a normal level of conversation.

Mexican Restaurant in the Fox cities. Tuesdays and Thursdays margaritas 2x1 Happy Hour from 3 to 6pm
Restaurant was clean, spacious, and inviting.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
Service was quick.
Food was a bite pricy in my opinion. Most dinner dish ranged from $12-15. Food portion was great. Taste was not bad. The chip and salsa was good. Water tasted weird, like rusty sink water or something.

Eat here often! Pizza is good and wraps are good. TV's are plentiful! Sometimes it can be noisy. The bar staff is always friendly.

Good, inexpensive bar food. Great fish sandwich, steak sandwich and specials. Mediocre pizza. Friendly service. Bad country music is always way too loud and there are TVs everywhere you look, but it is a sports bar and there aren't too many options in Hortonville.

Our family dined at The Waters last week for their Friday night fish fry, and we were very pleased with the bluegill and perch. The appetizers were excellent, too. Service was friendly and as prompt as possible, given the huge crowd. The waterfront setting was also very nice.
