Someone turned this hot dog stand into a destination restaurant! We found ourselves at the north end of Honeyoye Lake around lunchtime & stopped in after a few years away. We had a terrific, healthy lunch. You could eat here every day for a month & enjoy something new every time. Our energetic waiter provided a pitcher of water & recited the many specials. The outdoor seating is fine. There's a fire-pit & a garden. I believe I saw Rosemary, Mint, Sage, Chives, Tomatoes, Parsley, Basil, Lavender all growing nicely. There's a handsome new bar inside with a large selection. Oh, an ice-cream shop next door. Try this place. I hope that since they built it, you will come.

The owner makes everything from scratch - everything is wonderful. Fresh bakes scones, muffins, other goodies. Sandwiches, soups. Never disappointed! And the coffee is delicious.

Our menus will changes with the seasons, our wood fire selections are cooked with real wood, our wine and micro brew selections are large and extensive. Our well trained staff will make your selection approachable and fun. S.O.S.: Shorts or Suit, come down and enjoy!!!
We walked through the door, and were greeted by a professional, sophisticated, and friendly hostess. You know then , you have stumbled upon a special restaurant.
Then you enter a dimly lit dining area which is conducive to excellent dining, or a romantic dining interlude.
We were greeted by our server Patrick. A high energy, ultra intelligent, and very enthusiastic server. He was not only familiar with the menu but was able to make recommendations which thrilled us.
Patrick was thrilled with the business model as well. The entire menu is designed to encourage family style dining. The concept, which works very well, encourages the sharing of different plates or items on the menu. Much different than ordering appetizers or entrees and sharing a wing or a forkful of entree. You truly share the meal. I found that concept sexy and romantic. My fiancé did as well.
The food was excellent , the facilities ultra clean. The staff worked together.
This is a great place for family and friends to meet too. The bar seemed to be hopping for the singles crowd.
This is a great place to dine! What are you waiting for?

Like walking back into history, maybe 75 years. Wonderful atmosphere for time travelers. Wonderful soups, great service, comfort food, home cooking, friendly atmosphere, nice selection of beers, great bar, family owned, loyal staff (our waitress has worked there for 32 years). There's nothing like this place in the Finger Lakes. Don't miss it.

Bakery and Sandwich Shop The Cornerstone Market was established in May of 2014 to offer the Honeoye Community access to freshly baked breads and sweets as well as fresh and local products from the Finger Lakes Region and New York State. The market is complete with fresh local coffees, meat, cheese, dairy products, pasta, grains, sauces, spices, fresh produce as well as a growler station and bottled selection of craft beer. Experience all the flavors of the Finger Lakes right here on Main Street in Honoeye, NY. Then, walk through the double doors... Peggy's Rumpus Room was established in July of 2015. The room is dedicated to the loving memory Peggy Jane O'Neill, co-founder of The Cornerstone Market. The Rumpus Room offers extremely tasty sandwiches, salads, soups and sides as well as a bottled craft beer selection to enjoy with your meal. There is seating available for 20 as well as board games to enjoy with friends and family.
We have been to the Cornerstone Market Peggy's Rumpus Room for lunch many, many times, and we are never disappointed in the healthy food selections, careful preparation using local ingredients and flavorful soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches. The bakery items include fresh muffins daily, and there is an ample variety of craft beers as well. Staff is pleasant and helpful and do bring your meals to your table once you have ordered on pottery handmade by the owner on site. All in all, the whole atomosphere is welcoming and bright. Love the place, and we're looking forward to our next visit soon.

Arbor Hill of Naples, NY (Bristol Springs), is launching a new business called Brew & Brats. As the name implies, they will be offering crafted beers and specialty sausages (Brats – for Bratwurst).Arbor Hill has long produced wines and gourmet foods having distinct flavors signifying the heritage of the region. They now make 21 different wines and 47 gourmet food products. This new venture builds upon the historical significance of hops, an integral ingredient of beer. The Towns of Bristol and South Bristol were noted for their hop production – most of which supplied the McKechnie Brewery of Canandaigua in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.The featured sausage is made with Arbor Hill Sherried Wine BBQ Sauce, which has been a staple at Arbor Hill almost since the winery opened in 1987 – due to the original formulation developed by Neapolitans Darryl Braun and Doug Preston.
If you're looking for that local atmosphere and that great old world feel, this is your place.
We went on open mike night for musicians, which was a great bonus since we love music.
You can sit inside or out, but it was latter at night and getting chilly so we went inside.
The waiter had a great personality, and the whole atmosphere was very old school and relaxing.
Brats are the main attraction and they are definitely a must!
Local wines and brews are available as well and that's always a plus.
We actual sat with a frequent customer because had a bigger table and we had a bigger group. He saw us and offered his table and we said just stay and hang out ... so he did. Lucky for us because he was a real nice guy and gave us GREAT TIOS for touring and eating.
Definitely hit this place if your in the area!

There is no sign along the road so unless you know the area you will not see/find it. The parking is horrible, because it is part of a boat storage/launch. The food is reasonably priced and the waitress was very polite and attentive.
Hubby had 12oz burger, I had shrimp poboy and our sides were macaroni salad. He requested medium rare but his burger was over cooked and dry. My poboy was ok, fell apart way to quickly, so I ended up just eating the shrimp on the second half of the sandwich and leaving the bread and toppings . A true poboy is made with a crispy french bread not soft bread. The macaroni salad was very very dry. Hubby's Captain and coke lets just say he used the word "tasty". Would probably try something else at a later date.

I visited the Subway in Honeoye three times while attending a class in this small town. The service was good and the food was, as well. Subway is always a value and their chop salads were a healthy alternative for lunches. Always a trusted place for some fresh veggies.

So a new pizza place opens up in an old pizza place and you think, OK, I'll give it a shot but its going to be the same ol' so-so pizza that predominates the United States. I'm sorry, most pizza just isn't that good anymore. Pizza, as a rule, is generally fine but rarely do you find the old fashioned thin crust, high quality ingredients that are put together and cooked well.
I can't believe how lucky I got. In this little town I live in, an outstanding pizza place opens up less than3 miles from my home. This is the kind of thin crust pizza I remember as a kid from the 60's and 70's until thicker crusts started to dominate the scene. This is 5 star pizza all the way and not any more expensive than most of the cardboard you usually get.
I've never had better pizza in my life. The is the real deal. If you are a true pizza lover, meaning thin crust, give this place a shot. For those of you that aren't thin crust lovers, they'll also make "normal" and "thick" crust pizza for you. The crust combined with the sauce make for a truly outstanding pizza.
I like my onions sliced a little thinner than they had put on recently so I'm going to ask them to cut them into smaller cubes, I bet they'd have zero objections. Because the pizza was so good, I thought I'd try the wings, too. No shock. They were really, really good. Again, outstanding. Very well cooked, crunchy. These were mid-sized wings. I tend to like them small so they cook a little better, more crunch to the bite, but these were cooked perfectly.
This is more of a take out place but, if you happen to be in the area, it's well worth the stop. The owners know what they're doing. It's only been open for a few weeks but they have a bright future if they just keep doing what they've been doing.
Bottom line: you won't find a better pizza anywhere. Period.
