Excellent, friendly service. Very tasty homemade food. Excellent meatloaf and mash potatoes at a great price. My husband said the roast beef sandwich was very good also.

Stopped in while working in town. Amazing atmosphere and customer service. Cute establishment and the owner Brian took time to visit and oh my the coffee words can't describe the abundant flavor.Thank you both for stopping in and for taking the time to write a review for us. Look forward to seeing you next time you're in town.

Must be the place in town for the locals as their conversations were about local activities, which I found fascinating. Never been to Holdredge but want to come back to view the Nebraska Prairie Museum and will eat here again when I come back to this area. They had some special ice creams but unfortunately we didn't get to try them. But when you go, ask them about their special ice creams.

We visited Friday night and the prime rib was alright but not awesome. I felt for the price it should of been better. They were also out of bread which should never happen on a Friday night. I do feel some TLC is needed on the outside of the building. The best part of the meal were the onion rings!

This is a two restaurant chain with the other restaurant in McCook, Nebraska. The ribs are well smoked with a lot of meat. The sauce is a good vinegar based sauce. I love their home fries when I have a hamburger but am unable to eat them all. These are the ONLY potatoes I ask for a doggy bag!

The Gourmet House had been closed for a period of two months, since the owners were visiting in China, so we were so glad to find the restaurant open last evening. We have never had a bad meal there and have tried a variety of dishes. The egg drop soup was delicious on a chilly evening last night. The rice is served family style and is always cooked to perfection. Even our youngest "grands" enjoy eating there. Best egg rolls and crab rangoons ever! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and seem genuinely glad that you have chosen their establishment to eat at!

Coming from Arizona, I rarely brave a Mexican restaurant north of the border states. Too often, the meals are loaded with ground beef and sauce that tastes likes spaghetti-ohs. My son lives in Holdrege and was spot-on when he said I'd love this place. Great food, value and service. The place draws quite the crowds, too. And it tasted just like what we'd find in AZ!

The Restaurant at Holdrege Country Club is open to the public and offers an extensive menu of classic entrees and casual fare at an affordable price, in addition to a wonderful wine list and extensive beverage options. A convenient location, private parking, scenic dining room and friendly, attentive service allow HCC to offer "Casual Dining at Its Finest"!
My friends and I had a great dining experience at HCC restaurant. Super friendly waitresses that were very attentive, great bar with a good wine list. I had the strip steak that was seasoned nicely and grilled medium rare perfectly, and I loved the seasoned baked potato, and the salad was good. The rest of the menu looks like fun to try everything. We all decided we will be back. It was a good road trip.

this place has excellent Mexican food at a good price. the only thing I didn't like was our waitress didn't speak very good English and didn't understand what we were ordering. she had to call another waitress to help her.
