Wanted place for dinner close to where we were staying so went to Kelly’s. Have eaten breakfast there many times, but not dinner. We saw an employee eating a large shrimp salad with avocado, tomatoes, and lots of romaine lettuce. What we received was a scoop of overcooked mini shrimp in a small bowl on one limp lettuce leaf. The service was slow and inattentive. The cashier asked my husband the usual how was everything. His response was “absolutely mediocre”. Her response was “That’s great”. He asked her if she heard what he said and just shrugged when he told her. Last visit there.

Five of us had dinner there and everyone was very pleased with their meals. I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and assorted vegetables and it was delicious. The portion was large enough for me to take half home for the next day. The other entrees were chicken pot pie, Cajun chicken, pizza and the fish filet, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed too. The wait staff was friendly but the service was a little slow. All in all, an enjoyable meal.

This store has all the great features of a Buc-ee’s plus more if you can image. The have everything you need for the beach and fishing. They have dressing room to try on the bathing suits - yay! Awesome cover ups, beach bags, and tons of sandals. Lots of beach toys, chairs, coolers, sunglasses, etc. Great place to stop before your cruise out of Galveston.
Same food as the rest of the Buc-ee’s. Tons of snacks.

This is the cleanest place you will ever get your Starbuck's coffee. They serve some pastries and a few select other things I have not personally bought. This is a very calm, quiet atmosphere and really clean.

If you post a sticker on your restaurant front door for people to know that you support TripAdvisor & want reviews then be prepared to have honest feedback. The restaurant was filled with dirty tables and nowhere to sit. I asked the cashier where we were supposed to sit and was told that someone would be right there to clean off some tables. We waited and waited, along with others wanting tables too. No one ever did show up so I asked AGAIN and was told that they were having a busy day. Ummm NOT my problem. I ordered over $20 worth of food so I kind of expect not to be forced to eat standing up because not one of your 20 employees can clean a table. I finally got mad and requested the manager. The owner/manager (?) came up to the register from the grill and then just walked away. He seriously couldn't even talk to a customer that had requested him after experiencing poor service AND STILL nowhere to sit. What a joke! The cashier finally bused a table for us to sit after I told him to cancel my order if I couldn't sit down to eat. As for the food, the onion rings were not good. The fries were average. The condiment bar was out of ketchup. The owner/manager's wife was arranging salt shakers on the bar but neglected to restock condiment cups or anything else that was needing attending to. I guess it is too much to ask for her to have cleared some tables. This restaurant is poorly run and only cares about raking in money at the register. After you pay, they could care less about anything else. The only reason this place is popular with good reviews is because of the burger toppings you get for free on the condiment bar. Two thumbs down.

This place is temporarily closed due to a natural disaster. <br>Floyd's on the water is an experience that you not soon forget, embracing all the flavor of our Gulf Coast regional heritage with a distinctive menu of Texas specialties. Floyd's is the ideal spot for intimate lunches or dinners, as well as large parties and groups. We can accommodate you inside or on our deck overlooking the marina. Experience Floyd's on the Water, a Texas bistro on west bay, just west of Tiki Island on Galveston's West Bay, Floyd's on the Water, offers spectacular waterfront dining and magnificent sunset views. A stunning waterfront location, offer guests a beautiful panoramic view of the marina, where you can watch passing boats and abundant wildlife.
Two couples came here on Saturday evening during the holiday weekend. We were able to sit out on the deck to enjoy the marina views and constant breeze. We enjoyed the special margaritas for the evening and Floyd's seafood fondue which our waitress suggested for an appetizer. My friend and I enjoyed the fried shrimp that came with fresh sauteed veggies and mashed potatoes. The other two ordered the Bub's platter. It included shrimp made in different ways. My husband wasn't too thrilled with his. He also ordered the gumbo which he liked very much. Our waitress was Alysha and she was very attentive. This menu is pretty pricey so bring your wallet!
There are two levels to this restaurant. The lower level has a bar and is more casual. The upper level is not as casual but not formal either.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times over the years. The food is average. The typical Tex-Mex menu, but a little tame. Portions are good and the food comes out hot. The table have rock hard wood chairs. The last couple of visits, our service has been lacking. The last time with friends, we ordered an nacho plate appetizer, which is good. Before it came out, the waiter came back and wanted to take our order. I specifically told him not to put our order in until after the appetizer was served and we finished it. The appetizer came out and two minutes later here came the food. Our table was crowed with the large appetizer plates. The waitress handing out the food was using a towel to pick up the hot plates. Although there was plenty of room to walk around, she kept handing hot plates across the table and expecting us to take them bare handed. When a couple of the ladies did not want to take the hot plate, the waitress just kept holding it across the table in front of their faces. She acted like there was a big hurry even though it was mid afternoon and not crowded. The service was definitely reflected in the size of tip, plus a note was left on the ticket.

The food here is really food. The twice baked mashed potatoes are addictive. Save your money and just opt for a one meat dish. You don't get more meat, just more kinds. My favorite is the Turkey. The bread pudding is good, too.
