Full service mid scale casual Large menu with daily specials. Full bar and beer and wine list. All homemade food including homemade desserts & real gelato
My daughter and I had dinner here. I had the stir fry and it was excellent. The veggies were fresh and not overcooked. My daughter had their chicken specialty on pesto and it was equally delicious and very generous portion. I had the Pumpkin gelato and it is was excellent. The cherry on the cake for this was perhaps the best Cosmopolitan martini that I have ever had. Our waiter was very nice a probably should be a bar tender as he was the one that made it. Perfection!

Here's a gem of a coffee shop tucked across the street from the historic county court house in downtown Hillsdale. All of the usual coffee and tea selections are available (and some intriguing, delicious house specialties) with two huge advantages: 1) very friendly staff 2) great prices. Don't overlook the pastries and sandwiches as they shine right along with the coffee.

This place always had pretty standard ice cream fare. New owners closed the car wash, use one bay for drive through service and added hand-dip ice cream. Nothing spectacular, but always rewarding. very modest prices.

This is a small mexican restaurant in Hillsdale, Michigan, but it has great food for great prices.
First time visit since they expanded/remodeled. I like the fajitas Jalisco. There is lots to eat and the quality is excellent. The chips and salsa are quite good although I prefer a chunky salsa. The service was fast even though they were quite busy. There are many choices on the menu so we'll be back soon to try something new.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Mix of adults at the bar, watching SEC football and talking. 3 tables with young kids and teens. GREAT draft beer selection. I ordered the raspberry beer. Not too sweet-just right. Smoked prime rib sandwich was tasty- the meat was like butter. Fries were meh. Salad was crispy with great bleu cheese dressing. Mozzarella sticks weren't over-or-undercooked and not too much breaking. Same with the cod fish. Overall, better than average bar food, and great draft selections.

Best food in the county. This small diner which is family friendly gives large quantities of lip smacking offerings. They have daily specials some of which are traditional Thai food. You won't be disappointed if you vist this small deli...they close at 2 however!

We visited this family restaurant based upon other reviews on this website. We visited on Sunday. morning and it was very busy. We talked with a few local patrons who are regulars and they liked the food and service. We had about a twenty minute wait, and were seated promptly. Our waitress was busy with another family but another waitress came over and took our drink order. Our waitress then brought our drinks out a few minutes later and took our breakfast order. My sister ordered a hamburger and fries. Our food came out about a little while later and was very good. We were all pleased with our meal. This restaurant has been around a long time and could use a little updating. However, the staff were friendly and caring and the food was good.

This restaurant used to be a go to spot while I was growing up, but it is not the same. The BBQ chicken pizza is great, but the other food offered is okay. On my last visit the service was not great. It was busy so I understand that, but my order was taken, I was given my food, and then given my check. Not the greatest, but for being busy I don't blame the only server for the restaurant being understaffed. It

I was looking forward to a yummy stir-fry of veggies and chicken. I asked the waitress if the veggies were fresh-cut or if they were frozen. She responded that they were frozen--but the chef knows how to grill them so I won't even know they were frozen. With high hopes, I ordered the stir-fry. I was very disappointed for several reasons: 1) Yes, the veggies still tasted frozen, though they weren't soggy. 2) I was hoping for a greater variety of veggies in the stir-fry. 3) There was no sauce or ANYTHING on the stir-fry, so it tasted boring. 4) A side of some (bottled?) sauce was given to me, but it was cold. I asked the waitress to heat it up, and she did, but she replied that the chef said that a cold sauce is always given for this hot entree. Really?!? I put it on my stir-fry, but the entree would have tasted SO much better had it been cooked with a sauce.
Our waitress was very friendly, but after she heated my sauce and returned it to me, she basically disappeared. We had no water refills, and we ended up leaving our money on the table instead of waiting for our check, since we had waited long enough without her showing up.
We like the Hunt Club in Jackson, but this visit to the Hillsdale restaurant was a disappointment.

They did an excellent job of redoing the restaurant formerly known as Sammy's Pizza. More seating, nice decor, good menu. I ordered a pizza for pickup that was prepared in less than 20 minutes. The pizza was good, but a little higher priced than I expected. I thought a single item small pizza would cost under $10.
