We enjoy going to this downtown restaurant. It’s a basic “down home” kind of place- good food, good service, and friendly atmosphere. The seafood is particularly good and I love seafood! My favorite is tuna. It can be prepared in couple of different ways and is so tasty and moist, no matter how it’s prepared. The other feature that’s unique? Homemade “scones” although they are more like small biscuits to me. And they’re delicious. The only issue is getting up to the second floor of the building the restaurant is located. The stairs are narrow and steep. If you have trouble walking up and down stairs you might want to think twicebefore you go. Saratoga Grill is a great place to go for a casual, reasonably priced, and friendly atmosphere.

Maple view is a great place to sit outside and have some delicious ice cream! It is often very busy in the summer but the lines move pretty quickly. We typically bring a blanket and sit in the grassy area and stare out at the scenery.

It's usually pretty busy, but this is one of my favorite places to study and grab some coffee! I always have soy lattes at coffeeshops, and theirs is pretty good. Love the photography on the walls. It'd be nice if they had better outdoor seating (didn't see any of the outside other than in front, but maybe they do have it.)

Stopped by this lovely chocolate shop for after dinner gelato, and boy was it delicious! The nice young man behind the counter let us sample the wonderful offerings, and we ended up enjoying Salted Caramel (which tasted a bit like hot buttered rum), Nutella, and Lemon Cookie (which tastes a bit like the lemon cookies they serve after dinner in Italy)!

Great spot to celebrate Mardi Gras weekend! Brought the family for lunch and enjoyed Absinthe slushees (they also had Hurricane slushees), delicious beignets with chocolate chicory sauce, delicious French 75s, and yummy crawfish étouffée! Festively decorated with beads, banners, and masks! Let the Good Times Roll!

Good sit-down bbq place down by the river. The pork was good, as were the sides. Brunswick stew – with touch of rabbit – has just the right amount of game-ness to it. Hushpuppies small and really good. Turkey soup special very meaty. No complaints, good stuff.

Friends raved about Panciuto and wow, they were right! It was great. My husband and I just enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The setting is warm and intimate with lovely brick walls, a beautiful bar offering a variety of high end bourbon choices and a small, cozy dining space that combines bistro, high top and family style tables. The wait staff welcomed us with prosecco as we reviewed the menu. My husband and I split the carpaccio as a starter and then went onto two savory pasta entrees: goat cheese cappelletti for me and farfalle with pulled pork for him. All choices were excellent. We topped off the meal with blueberry panna cotta - a perfect light finish. It was a lovely evening from start to finish. We'll be back!

We stopped in here after walking the nearby Riverwalk. Although we were mostly thirsty and grabbed drinks, we did notice a wide selection of ready-to-eat food items, pastries, salads, cheeses, etc. It seemed like a relaxed place to hang out, with many people taking advantage of the nice weather to sit outdoors. I don't recall seeing hot food items like some grocery stores (maybe we missed it), but they did seem to have a decent variety of other food items. As with a lot of organic/green grocery stores, prices can be a little high.

The food and service was just ok. My family was on a road trip and went to Trip advisor to find a high rated Mexican restaurant. This had great reviews but we all said we would not return. Sweet tea was nasty, building was dinghy and all waitress did was take our order and dropped off our food, she never came back to our table. I can say that the shrimp in the fajitas were big. The price we paid for lunch and this experience was way too high!

The Wooden Nickel is small and bit "beery". The wooden tables are scored with people's initials and the few tables are squeezed in closely together. In good weather there are tables out on the front sidewalk area. There are lots of great beers to try, although we were there for lunch and stuck with diet coke. The food is quite exceptional -- or at least is a real contrast to the environment. But each enhances the other. So you have the fun of the pub atmosphere with food that is well above the greasy spoon one might expect.
The mash-up is quite successful. The service was prompt and very friendly. I thought the Harvest Salad was really delicious and the bits of butternut squash were pickeled somehow, which was different but really tasty. My friend had Wings --- they seem to specialize in these -- and there are lots of options -- and deemed them very good. This is a great place to try for an authentic experience but with guaranteed good food.
