At the Stonecat, it is our belief that food is life. We feel that what people eat is the biggest mark of their culture and a reflection of how they feel about life. We like life in Hector and enjoy waking people up to vibrant, fun food that is grown organically and sustainably. We celebrate the bounty of the Finger Lakes region and focus on regional, sustainable food purveyors and local wine, beer, and craft cocktails. Reservations are highly recommended. Please visit our website for service hours, music listings and special events.
This restaurant is so warm and cozy. The food was amazing. The wine list is so great many choices from many of the surrounding local wineries. Our service was less then great but this did not take away from our evening.

A small solar powered brewpub along Seneca Lake in Hector, New York. In addition to our own brews and house made Beef on Weck sandwich, we offer world class craft beer, Finger Lakes wine, cider and soft drinks. Come enjoy the expansive views from our deck the next time you visit. Cheers!
The beer is of very good quality. And the view just adds to the experience. Fun spot. Food is not a priority here but some is available. I would go there for the great beer.

The restaurant is attached to the Glenora winery. Wonderful view of the lake on a crisp fall day. We mixed and matched the sandwiches ( Cuban, Reuben, chicken) and the spicy curry pumpkin soup was perfect. Gewrtzstruminer was our wine of choice, and no regrets.

Cooking School, Private Dining and Special Events. We offer both hands-on and demonstration classes, wine dinners, private parties and wedding receptions. The schedule will be carefully managed so that each offering is a special well thought out and executed experience. We specialize in proving the freshest of ingredients through the following avenues: Our own organic vegetable and herb garden specializing in heirloom varieties, local organic farmers who are growing specific produce for us, local farmers who are producing hormone free antibiotic free meats and fish flown in from Browne Trading Company in Portland Maine to ensure its freshness.
We were disappointed to learn that Suzanne is no longer open to the public but only for private party and banquet functions.

Great restaurant to meet up with family and friends in a comfy environment. The cocktails are wonderful and the food is down home type, no large menu with hundreds of items.

This was our first night in the Finger Lakes and it was also Saturday night so Scuteri's was serving pizza (only on Fridays and Saturdays). We stopped in, order a pizza, ran some errands, and came back to pick up a yummy pizza...also a cannoli for dessert...how can you not from a place that has a big cannoli on their sign! It is family run and everyone there was really nice. Only advice is to park on the same side of the street as the location...4th St is very busy and it was a pain to have to cross as no one wants to stop and let you across, but there is several parking places on the right side of the street.

The Red Newt Bistro is a great place to stop for lunch while in the Finger Lakes. We continue a decades long tradition of working closely with local farmers to offer fresh and delicious local fare. Quick service and simple, delicious food sourced from Finger Lakes farms is the perfect complement to a glass of wine on our deck.
This is another phenomena winery! The young lady doing our tasting was so informative and knowledgeable not only about their wines but about wine in general. Unfortunately they were the last stop in our day and we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. This is a must stop on the wine trail!

Located in Hector, NY, overlooking beautiful Seneca Lake, we craft signature beers on-site that appeal to a broad spectrum of beer drinkers. Our menu of elevated pub-style chews compliments any beer you choose. The goal of Grist Iron Brewing Company is to become "the place" you want to return to time and time again. Good friends, good food, and great beer.
Really fun spot. The wait staff was great and truly took their time explaining the beer. Very easy to taste and drink beer. Food is good too. Lots of TVs and they bring in live music. A must stop.

Homemade sausages, burgers and local wieners. Condiments are made in-house and locally sourced. Milkshakes, soda from Johnny Ryan, floats, beer (bottled and on tab), wine. Outside seating is available
We stopped here on our way home after visiting some wineries on Seneca Lake. It was very tasty! My husband had the double hotdog and enjoyed it very much. I had poutine fries, and they were delicious! I highly recommend them!

We stopped for lunch during a wine tasting trip.
Barb had an excellent burger ("Hamburger" is German right?) that was made with freshly ground beef. I had the lunch special "Viennese bento box" ... a sampler platter which is a great idea because there are so many menu items you want to try.
We didn't have room for dessert so we got a selection of the pastries to go.
Service was friendly and Dano himself was working the room, greeting his guests.
