The old mall location in the historic downtown section of Havre, MT is the home of this delightful gem of a restaurant. The breads are homemade and all of the sandwich fillings have a little twist like mayo with fresh herbs and wonderfully marinated veggies. The Turkey panini was tasty with fresh basil and herbed butter to enhance the crispy crust. The taco soup that day was flavorful and full of all the right stuff. I have had better cookies but the walnut chocolate chip did not skimp on the nuts. All in all, a surprise lunch place in a Montana high plains town.

Henny Penny Cupcakes features gourmet cupcakes that are baked daily in our kitchen. Our soups are made with fresh ingredients using recipes that have been passed down for three generations. The accompanying Rancher Roll is baked daily and served warm from the oven. Our shop has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel at home.
We just happened to see this place next door to the restaurant we intended to try out.
We couldn't believe the wide variety of cupcakes they have to offer.
We had fun deciding which ones to get and we enjoyed every single one of them over several nights after we brought them home.
I felt the prices were a little high, but I don't usually buy cupcakes, I normally make my own. Plus these were specialty cupcakes that you would not typically find in a bakery, so they probably are the norm just because of that.
If you love cupcakes with sweet surprises inside, you definitely need to check this place out.

Delicious sandwiches and wraps. Great for a quick lunch. Lots of different coffees if that is your preference. Patio dining when the weather is nice, just not end of April! Friendly and attentive wait staff.

Suggest by the staff at the Best Western across the street, the Duck Inn was just too convenient to pass up...great choice, two fine meals from the "senior" menu at a reasonable price. The service was pleasant and efficient. Glad we stopped!

This is probably one of the best hot dogs I have had. My husband and I had hot dog combos which consisted of one hot dog a piece, 2 bags of chips, and a soda each...all for $6. Can't beat that! We then had ice cream. My hubby had a banana split blizzard and I had a brownie triple chocolate ice cream....yum!

I'm a self-professed coffee snob who drinks fresh ground coffee in a French press at home. Standards often need to be lowered when traveling, but there is no drop-off here. Good strong flavorful coffee (fresh ground) without bitterness. It's just a small building on the corner of a busy street, but if you have similar high standards for java, you will not be disappointed.

We stopped in for lunch after driving from Medicine Hat. The service was prompt, even food was good and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere is nice and the menu has a nice variety.

As the name indicates, Nonna's Coffee House brings a taste of Italy to Havre, with great coffees and panini, plus pasta specials on Wednesdays and Fridays. The regular menu includes hearty breakfasts, great sandwiches, stuffed potatoes, chicken parmigiana and other dishes. The side salads are imaginative, colorful and the best in Havre, and the homemade soups and pastries are divine. Be prepared for hearty portions and great conversation with the regulars.

We were in Havre for a class reunion and were SO happy to find this place! They actually use healthy ingredients in their cooking. We were missing quality vegetables. The owner and his son were so cordial and friendly. When we return to Havre in 3 years we'll definitely be back to Spud's. I wish I had looked at TripAdvisor the very first day of our trip! I understand why it's rated #1. Excellent food and service is what counts to us.
