I have dined here maybe 8-10 times in the past 5 yrs and I must say, service, food and ambiance has always been consistently good. There are a bunch of new restaurants around and, honestly, as much as I would like to try them they all get such spotty reviews. I think I will just stick with the tried and true places like this one.
And, Monday night $5 burgers with home made chips? I will definitely be back more often!
My party of 4 had a $5 burger, a very large individual pizza, large fresh salad and a quesadilla along with 2 beers and 2 sodas and the bill was $60 before tip. Excellent value.
Check it out!

Friends have raved about Joseph's for years and we finally got a chance to visit. The dining room has a view of the open kitchen. Everything was superb, including the service. We started with the fried calamari, which was perfectly cooked, without a hint of grease. We got two Insalata dell'Orto for four of us, but one would have been enough. It was unique and delicious with seared peppers, mushrooms and onions, baby greens, sun dried cranberries, oranges, pancetta, mozzarella, ciabatta crostini, and a wonderful citrus vinaigrette. The special seafood pasta of the day was wonderful, with scallops, salmon, and shrimp. The braised short rib special served over fresh pappardelle was very good, albeit a little greasy as short ribs tend to be if not cooked a day ahead and skimmed of fat.The rack of lamb was very good, although it came out a little rarer than the medium that was ordered. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. We had no room for dessert but the espresso martinis were fabulous. Recommended!

My friend and I dropped in for an lunch. There was a very good crowd, but we got settled right away. We order our usual baked fish and naturally it was delicious. I consider this to be the best all around restaurant in Haverhill. There was a nice article this month in the Haverhill magazine about Butch's.

This deli is take-out only, located in a residential neighborhood. Traditional deli meu with some fish options and fried food also. HUGE sandwiches. The small is equivalent to a Subway foot-long, the large is almost the size of a baseball bat!
The staff is excellent; friendly, courteous and fast!
Best sandwich I've had in ages! Fresh ingredients with both quality and quantity!
Worth the 3 mile or so drive from the highway!

We’ve been there for supper with our toddler. Service was quick and our waitress was friendly. Drinks were good. I had salmon my husband had a filet mignon. They were both good and portions were just right. Smaller than normal American dishes. My only complaint is about the kids menu. They don’t have separate menu for kids and just offer fired food( chicken nuggets, French fries etc) my toddler can’t have it ,because of this we fed him at home before we went to the restaurant. It would be perfect place for date night.

We found this place on Groupon (which was an excellent deal). Their food is delicious, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive, the prices are fair, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.

The Grill Next Door is a family owned & operated restaurant specializing in comfort foods and world class craft beer.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic.
I ordered the baked haddock. It was the best I've ever had. It was so good I could have asked for seconds.
The restaurant is nice looking.
The wait staff were friendly and efficient.
If we every in the area again, we will be back.

Went to Olivia's on a Friday night. Pat waited on us and did a wonderful job. The three of us got The Lamb Kabob Dinner, Haddock Italiano and an Eggplant Parm. Everything was cooked perfectly except the lamb which I wanted medium rare. The lamb kabobs were tasty but well-done and they were presented on my plate on metal skewers right off the grill. These metal skewers were HOT!! I thought this was unusual as I burned my fingers trying to get the meat off the skewers. Maybe they ran out of wooden skewers. Other than that little episode, I will still go back as Olivia's is one of my favorite places in Haverhill.

Eight of us including a 2 year old had a nice dinner and drinks here on a saturday night. We ate early 6:30 SO CROWD WAS NOT A PROBLEM. Great beer selection! About a dozen local craft beers on tap. Really good, unique beers. My first time for pineapple halepena beer. Loved it. Had a glass of the apricot heferwizen liked that too. They had a redvelvete deseret beer that smelled like red velvet cake! I had the baked haddock. It was done just right. All our orders were done to order and served correctly. Well done Jason. I liked this place last year when i was here. I liked it even better this time. I live in NJ and eat out all the time. This place is VERY reasonable in price. Nice atmosphere too.

We were disappointed the only time we had been to Wang's Table. We were in the area last night, tired and hungry and a parking spot right in front. We wer glad we stopped.
The menu is extensive. My wife had Pad Thai and I had MooShi. I hadn't had Mooshi for
over 20 years, and it was fun. We both had food left over and the server did an excellent
job of packing it to go.
