We had an errand in this town, so a quick check of Trip Advisor led us lunch at this charming little market store. The atmosphere gets an A+. After you turn in your food order, stroll around and stock up on some hostess gifts. Nice assortment of food and kitchen items.
The food was good, I cannot add anything not already said, and said better. You do not pay until you are done eating and on your way out the door. Do yourself a favor and grab one of the multicolored rice Krispy bars at the register.

We offer a welcoming environment with a staff that was hired based on their interest in serving others. Our menu includes a variety of American cuisine with Southern influence and we offer an assortment of domestic/imported beer and red/white wine options.
Great welcoming feeling. Fried pickles were awesome. Very thin sliced, corn meal breading, crispy. Great Friday night snack. Special lemon, garlic fried chicken wings. Some of the best wings we have had! Great service, too. Everyone friendly & attentive even though we came it late! We will definitely be back. We stayed in Hartwell for a change of pace going to Clemson game. Definitely thinking of making it one of our weekend game routines so we can come back to The Table!

Very god food not excellent not average. Great staff mood was good great location food worthy of my or your hard earned dollar. Relaxing not fast food not diner food. A step above good for lunch family outings or a romantic meal. Pizza selection is minimal but good enough Greek fries are excellent salad are amazing.

Been going to this family-owned Dairy Queen for over 40 years. Yes, that long! :-) They have recently renovated the inside of their restaurant. They also installed an outside open-air but covered patio with nice overhead fans. Their renovations are nice. They just have great food. They care about how they prepare their food, are very friendly. Now, they give you a table number to take with you and you go sit down. They bring your food to you! They have the best breakfast biscuits in town - real biscuits! Real cured ham (not those thin shaved ham slices you see at other places); big thick sausage patties; thick bacon; steak and chicken biscuits too. They also serve good southern grits :-), gravy, coffee, etc.... If you are in Hartwell looking for breakfast, DQ is the place to go.

Under new management and an old favorite is sprucing up ! The menu is changing as well as improving and the wait staff is being given additional training. Congratulations to the new owners on keeping this much loved establishment going !

My son and I had lunch at Backstreet - it is everything one can want in a BBQ restaurant. It has great BBQ in a cool setting at an affordable price. They leave sandwich bread on your table - which my son really enjoyed.
The chopped pork sandwich is very good and comes with a bag of chips and a drink. I highly recommend Backstreet.

Went here on the recommendations from Trip Advisor. After speaking to friends, we found out that other sites have this place ranked MUCH lower.
Wife and I went before a football game. I had scallops in oyster sauce. The vegetables tasted raw, the scallops didn't taste like scallops and the rice was too dry. The Lo Mein tasted burnt. The appetiser of steamed dumplings came out last.
Not going back.

Not many reviews to go by so we tried it anyway a y and we were extremely pleased with the service and the meal. Our lunches were hot and plentiful. Complimentary chips and salsa were delivered with the menus and our server Juan was friendly and helpful. We topped off lunch with the fried ice cream which was over the top delicious. The only negative was that decaf coffee is not available and the interior could use some upgrading of ceilings. Do not miss this one if your coming through town

Ahhh. This place reminds me of growing up in Savannah with my grandmother's cooking. Now located in Atlanta there are very few places to get good southern cooking. We have a place on the lake and plan on making this our Sunday Brunch spot before heading back to the city.

Very good food, fast, friendly service. The chicken strips are the best! Homemade breading! Steak and peach BBQ chicken are good too!
