Authentic Polish Cuisine, made to by the hands of traditional polish cooks that have been in the US since 1996.
First time here, even though we live an hour away. Stopped here after cruising "tunnel of trees", and what great find. A true Polish family restaurant. I grew up in a Polish family with lots of food, and this reminded me of our family dinners. This place is the Real thing, not like those that " claim" to be Polish. Been to the other place on other end of the "tunnel", but this has already become our favorite. Pierogi's are second to none, as are the potato pancakes. Do yourself a favor and stop here. Can't go wrong here.

They have a great variety to choose from. I chose the butterscotch oatmeal and a pumpkin and spice. We both chose the Michigan Cherry chocolate chip (absolutely the best). Chocolate chip and pecan was great too. I didn't try the regular chocolate chip but am sure it was just as good as the rest. We bought the cookies on Friday. This is Tuesday and they are still fresh. This yummy place is not to be missed.

We were Looking for a comfortable coffee spot on a cloudy day and Stained Cup provided the perfect venue. Right on Main Street in Harbor Springs we were warmly greeted and promptly served a delicious latte and caramel mocha. My husband relaxed in the comfortable chairs and we enjoyed a few moments of relaxation with a great cup of Joe.

My husband and I went to Yummies after our dinner at Turkey's, which is only a few doors down. Another retro and fun place in Harbor Springs--and always crowded! The ice cream was very good, but they didn't have what I wanted, which was Rocky Road, but no big deal, we still enjoyed our summer treat just the same.

An area icon near Boyne Highlands ski areas and golf courses
We had a family Thanksgiving week celebration at Teddy’s. Many of the family had been there before, so it came highly recommended. There were 11 of us, and they accommodated that large number easily and smoothly.
Service was excellent, and the drinks were generous.
The food was generally excellent. I ordered rib eye steak which was indeed rare, but was not seared sufficiently on the outside. My companion had liver and onions to die for. My brother had the ribs and perch which was equally terrific. I heard no complaints from the other eight.
HOWEVER, Teddy’s touts itself as a Prime Rib specialty house. Many in our party did indeed order the prime rib and were very satisfied. I too went there for the prime rib. But my requirement is truly rare prime rib, and they were unable to guarantee that. And indeed, when I sampled what was delivered as “rare” to others, it was definitely more medium rare. So I was glad I did not order the roast beef, but was particularly disappointed that a restaurant specializing in prime rib could not deliver truly rare Prime Rib. For this reason alone, I downgrade my overall score.
(This is a common complaint I have about restaurants serving Prime Rib. It appears partly to be a problem as to when you arrive: after 5:30, no more rare. Why can’t they anticipate that later diners might also want the rare serving? Are there other explanations?)

Food was wonderful and the restaurant smelled heavenly. The staff was great and I am sorry we didn't have room for dessert because everything looked wonderful!

This is a liquor and wine store, but they make the most incredible sandwiches, to order, that go on HOMEMADE bread. The smell of their baking bread wafts down Main Street each morning in this delightful town.
Sandwiches involve standing in a (usually) long line and then selecting the meat, spread and bread type desired. They have interesting possibilities like cucumbers and sprouts. All sandwiches are $6.75, except the Trainwreck, which is $1 more and involves a delightful combination of meats with your selection of condiments and vegetables. This all comes with a good pickle.
There is no place to really sit at Guerney's but suggest you walk down to the picnic tables a block away near the harbor, and watch the boats go by. A great lunch in good weather.

The historic New York Restaurant in downtown Harbor Springs has been a local favorite for many years, for good reason. The food is consistently good, service is professional, and pricing is reasonable. The wine list is extensive. The restaurant is an excellent marketer, with early bird pricing and two-for-one dinners on Tuesdays.

A tribute to the maritime heritage of beautiful Harbor Springs, Stafford's Pier Restaurant offers true waterfront dining, quite literally, as the Pier Restaurant was built on original pilings over the harbor. The Pier's Pointer Room overlooks the historic yacht basin while offering visitors a superb choice of fine cuisine. A local meeting spot, the Wheelhouse Lounge is open daily for cocktails with a complete menu. Dudley's Deck is without question the most famous outdoor dining spot in northern Michigan and the place to be each and every Fourth of July. Along with spectacular views, the Pier notes an impressive culinary team, lead by Executive Chef Rob Sargent. The Pier is always the center of action in Harbor Springs all year long. And especially when summertime hits, there is probably no more popular nightspot in town.
The Pier Restaurant, overlooking Little Traverse Bay in downtown Harbor Springs, is a consistently fine dining experience, one of the jewels in the Stafford's Hospitality lodging and dining business in Northern Michigan. Fine food, excellent business, consistency, and reasonable pricing.Thank you LouBob for your review. We appreciate your patronage, and your detailed notes regarding our food, business, consistency and pricing. As always, we look forward to seeing you very soon. Best,

We have been to Vernales several times before but not for a significant event. Our reservation was for 8:30 and from the moment we were greeted at the reception desk to the time we left everything was wonderful. Our waitress was the perfect combination of attentive but not obtrusive. The food was superb. We will definitely return.
