Enjoyed a really nice dinner here with friends recently, as I was visiting the area. (It turns out they had gotten engaged there!) Excellent quality food and service, romantic fine dining. Too many good choices, I hope to return again!!Thank you, Michael, for your 5 star rating and kind words. It is always gratifying to hear that our guests have enjoyed their time with us. We look forward to seeing you again when you are in the area.

Stayed in Baltimore for a few days and this place was recommended for their crab cakes.
BINGO....I haven’t had many cakes to compare it to, but it doesn’t matter. Hands down one of the best things I have EVER eaten. (I believe the dish I had is called the Imperial)
I also had the oyster appetizer which was also delicious.
If I ever visit the area again I will return FOR SURE

Went here for lunch and I got there just in time before the place got packed. Ordered the chicken pad Thai. It was absolutely authentic and delicious!!!! This is now my new to go spot for authentic Thai cuisine. It came with a spring role as well as a tapioca dessert.
Service was quick and attentive.
Bottom line: will be back several times.

I’ve enjoyed Carlson’s donuts for over 25 years, mostly when office-mates have brought them in to share. However, I recently took a turn myself, stopping for a couple of dozen on my way to work. It has been quite a few years since I’ve been inside this tiny shop, but I was still a bit overwhelmed with the variety of non-standard choices. While trying to make up my mind on what to order, I helped another patron take 4-5 two-dozen donut boxes to her car. Needless to say, these donuts are famous in the surrounding area. —As for me, I finally decided on a variety of common and specialty donuts, and got three separate ones for myself— a pumpkin and spice, an old-fashioned sour cream, and a Bismark. ...These are not small donuts, so that served as my breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack... Yes, I spent a little extra time at the gym to make up for it, but it was worth it... :-)

This was my first visit to Arturo's. I use to be a regular here when it was Alberto's! I do like the improvements to the decor. It's a very relaxing, inviting ambience. One of the owners came to our table early on to introduce himself and let us know that Arturo's is an "offshoot" of their Annapolis restaurant Osteria. I like Osteria, but rarely go there, preferring Carpaccio's on West Street because I think Carpaccio's is a better value. I alway enjoy the meal at Osteria, but feel I over pay. I definitely get the same feeling, even more so, from Arturo's. It is located in a somewhat nasty strip of stores on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. You slightly feel you have to look over your shoulder going in. The other stores in the strip use to include a laundromat and a bail bondsman place. The bail bondsman is no longer there and the laundry seems to be closing, but you get the idea. They will not be offering outdoor dining alongside of Crain Highway in warmer weather! LOL The service is fine, though not particularly helpful. We asked about the specials and basically were told to read the insert with no offer of guidance. The food was good, but bear in mind you will be paying $30+ for entrees. The dover sole was a jaw dropping $55. Come on now.... We are not in NYC or even a romantic location by the water in Annapolis. To be fair, the food is good, just extremely overpriced for the overall dining experience. I use to forgive this in Alberto's when the waiter's were in tuxedos and fawning over you at the table to be helpful, and were rated the #1 Italian restaurant in Baltimore Magazine, but there is just nothing exceptional here besides the prices.

Discover an authentic Italian restaurant in Hanover, Maryland. Cantina Mamma Lucia serves up delicious, traditional Italian food that your whole family will love. Founded in 1989 by Francesco, Dominick, and Anthony D'Antona, our family-run restaurant combines down-home Italian cooking with originality and creativity. Those same three brothers still own and operate the restaurant and catering service.
Our group of 30+ family members recently reserved the private dining room and had a buffet set up for the group. The room rental was a bit pricey, but the individual buffet charge was pretty reasonable. We had salad, garlic bread, pasta shells with meat sauce, lasagna, chicken marsala, and a dessert plate. They were accommodating in providing a gluten free alternative for one family member. The food was very good, but nothing particularly unique as far as Italian goes. This is a very casual Italian restaurant. The room worked out well for our needs, as it was quiet and closed off from the main dining areas. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant for a group looking for a reasonable private room for a meal.

Every time I'm around this area is make it a point to stop by and get some food from here. They have one of the best lamb kabob I've ever had. The food are consistently good and the service is fast. This place is a must!

We ate at the bar as it was high demand on a Saturday night. Great choices - we enjoyed the juicy pork sandwich & Turkey on pretzel roll. Brews were reasonable with an ample variety to choose from. Friendly, efficient staff. Try if you're in the Elkridge, MD area.
