The French toast was absolutely delish! This is at the airport, so I didn’t know what to expect . They serve breakfast all day and had a large selection of scrambles and Benedicts. Recommend!!!

Came here for our caffeine fix and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed the House Mochas. Friendly staff, clean environment, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

First visit to Half Moon Bay with another family. We enjoyed the lunch there though it took a long time to find parking on the streets there. They should definitely consider making a garage somewhere close by with at least 2-3 levels.
Food was tasty and cocktails were great too. Pasta, salads, pizza were all delicious. Clean big dining room as well so we weren't watching our elbows with other guests dining there.

We always buy their fruit bars with nuts when we come to town, and often their fresh crusty breads and sometimes other delicious sweet pastries and cookies. Small, charming, fresh and friendly are the buzz words for this place.

Mezzaluna Restaurant is located in the historic Princeton Landing building (which was built in 1908). The harbor town of Princeton By The Sea is located 20 miles south of San Francisco. In this scenic area of Half Moon Bay, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, you can experience breathtaking coastal views and marvel at the giants waves of Mavericks surf spot. We provide nothing but the highest quality of meat, fish, produce, pasta and local fresh ingredients. Mezzaluna is continually awarded as Best Restaurant on the Coast and Best Customer Service. In 2012, Mezza Luna was awarded "Favorite Italian Restaurant" and in 2013 awarded "Favorite Overall Restaurant" and "Favorite Italian Restaurant" by the coastside community and the readers of the Half Moon Bay Review. In 2014 Mezza Luna was awarded by Open Table the "Dinners Choice Award". But it doesn't take an award to prove the quality and consistency of the great food, service and wine... You must experience it for yourself.
This was an amazing family reunion. We were a total of 56 family members. From the appetizers, main course to the deserts everything was spot on! We all had a choice, petrale, chicken or steak. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. A special thank you goes out to Roberto and his crew of waiters and bartenders for making this occasion a very very special event for our family. A special thank you goes about to Giovanna and Amerigo for flying out from Tuscany Italy for this special event. MEZZA LUNA the best Italian food on the coast!!!

It's Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor, and a wine list of 10-12 varietals. Ten years later, our menu has expanded to include steak and seafood grilled specialties, artful antipasti, and a decadent array of housemade desserts from our pastry chef. Over 120 bottles line up on our wine list from Italy, California, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. As always, we have remained faithful to a local coastal California Italian cuisine, with its cosmopolitan nature, bringing produce and cheeses from local farms, meats and poultry from quality and organic growers, and seafood from a variety of waters. Most importantly, we are a little local community restaurant that serves locals. Lots of locals! Our advertising is mostly word of mouth. Our energy is inviting, positive, and friendly, and when you come in, you are invited to be part of our family.
In Oct. 2017 we stayed overnight at the Half Moon Bay Inn and for dinner we walked next door to “It’s Italia” restaurant (same building as the Inn). We were seated at a pleasant table near the front windows. The service, ambiance, menu selections, food and wine list were all excellent and I'm looking forward to our next dinner. Based upon our experience, many locals dine there and the feeling was one of a big, happy family!

Barbara's Fishtrap is a quirky seafood diner with a view of the harbor. Seating is available indoors or on an enclosed patio. The seafood is excellent - fresh and well-prepared with generous portions. Our waitress was friendly and engaging and kept lunch flowing smoothly.
A casual restaurant with excellent service that does seafood very well! Cash only!

Stopped in for a crab sandwich for lunch. Restaurant was super busy. Waitress was obviously struggling to cope but was super nice. We ordered a crab sandwich and she brought us out a shrimp sandwich. She apologized, took it back and brought out the crab sandwich. Fries which were very good, didn't arrive until we had finished the sandwich. Everything tasted great though! Would try them again........
