Athos was voted one of the 100 Best Greek Restaurants in America by The National Herald. Casually elegant, Athos serves only the very freshest seasonal ingredients, lovingly brought together using time-honored recipes and techniques, like clay pot cooking, and whole fresh fish-filleted table-side.
When in Albany, it is worth your while to eat here. Close to the Crossgates Mall with ample parking- the service is great, plentiful seating and delicious fare. We made last minute reservations for 5 for Sunday night and were immediately seated around 6:30pm. We shared appetizers and a lamb meal, a fish dinner filleted at the table, and even enjoyed some prix fixe in our selections. We all agreed that we would recommend and return again. Also, kudos to Charlie our server for his suggestions and patience. Well done!!

I enjoyed a "dinner box" of dumplings, sushi rolls, shrimp tempura and chicken teriyaki. It came with either soup or salad. I chose the miso soup. Service was excellent, food was hot and fresh and very enjoyable. The restaurant is small and it was packed. People coming in for take out also. I will definitely go back!

It is amazing when some very unique menu items just seem to go so well together! That statement is true for the Sage Bistro. The menu has some dishes that you usually don't see at too many places: vegetable jambalaya, chicken creole, lobster mac and cheese, and Portuguese chicken! I ordered the special seafood creole. Portions are plentiful and robust with flavor, but not too overpowered with spice or controversial flavors, such as garlic. And all dinners come with a salad with a selection of homemade dressings. I suggest the cucumber dressing, which is delicious! And enjoy the pre-dinner warm pita points with their homemade hummus. But be sure to save room for the gelato, which by the way, you have to walk by on your way into the restaurant! They have at least as many flavors of gelato as you would have at your local ice cream parlor!
Since this restaurant isn't huge, it makes sense to make a reservation, although we did manage to walk in and get a table on a Saturday night. And since it isn't too big, it never gets too loud in there.
Come for the unique food that you can't get elsewhere in the area. The waitstaff will make it even more pleasant for you!

Real good custom burgers. Tasty salads and to die for Fried Ice Cream! .. Get it while it lasts!! All made in house, fresh and as much local as they can find.. That's a plus in my book.
Talking with friendly staff learned about local events and happenings in the area. Real nice visit for my family.

We don't live in the area full time and this was our first time dining in the restaurant. Their pizza is off-the-chain great!!!! We were not impressed with the calamari--so little, and the service was just ok. I would recommend just coming for pizza take out.

I discovered this place sometime in 2015 and was excited for a few reasons: it was closer to our home in Rotterdam than other Indian restuarants, the food was great and their offered lunch boxes at lunch. I ordered a handful of times including catering for my son's birthday, all of which were fine.
On Sunday we had dinner at home for my mom's birthday and wanted a variety of other options so ordered for delivery. I got Chicken Korman, Chicken Biryani Rice and a lamb dish with nan on the side. It was very expensive, totaling over $60. The Korma had a green slime color (compared to the usual yellow from Nirvana & other restuarants), was tasteless and had only a few pieces of chicken. The biryani was flavorful but the spices weren't mixed in well so there were clumps of plain white rice and clumps of over seasoned rice. The lamb was tasteless.
My sister bought chicken korma from Sittar (on central ave) as well and theirs was cheaper, a yellow color (like normal), tasty and a larger portion.
I am disappointed in the quality and wouldn't be returning.

I gave this 3 stars but should be 3 1/2, just doesn't rate "very" good
This is a typical southern Italian restaurant that does everything good but not great. It is a local favorite.
Menu is reasonably priced and although we have been here several times, we have never had anything that we were sorry we ordered. They often have specials that are flat out bargains which makes Tesoro a worthwhile visit.
Service is OK, wine list adequate and décor typical
Worth a try

Party of 6 took a friend here for a birthday dinner...it's close to his home...everything was excellent...they were very kind and generous and gave us a couple of things no charge since it was a birthday dinner. To me, that's GREAT business...give a little, get a little...we'll definitely return. If they forgot ONE of our chicken wings...I wouldn't dismiss them as others have...people make mistakes!

Our restaurant is a combination of Sushi, Asian food, Japanese food, Hibachi, and many more other food. We are located at 2050 Western Ave ( Star Plaza) Guilderland, NY 12084.
Ordered $60 worth of takeout. Menu needs more actual pictures of the rolls. None ordered wowed me despite different names and ingredients from other local sushi spots. Mango shrimp was very over fried. Family liked the rice chicken and brocolli but it didn't look like anything unique to me, nice that they had liquor license. Would possible go back to try it again given the bar. Kari salad had more ice berg lettuce than anything else and disputed a pile of coupons sitting at the register, they wouldn't let me use a $5 coupon unless I came back again. Was hoping for a wow experience given so close to home but doesn't come close to the quality of food and service of sushi Tei right down the street
