While hanging out in Greybull waiting for the eclipse, the folks at our hotel directed us to Lisa's. It was just what we were looking for. We had a nice table under a tree in their sunny courtyard. I had some Mexican fare while my wife had the Mac n Cheese. Both dishes were just fine. The service was very good and it was a fine relaxing experience.

Don't let the rustic exterior fool you. This here is the place where cowboys go to get their hearty vittles. This small community spot is a place where the owner knew everyone that walked in (except us interlopers). She treated everyone like family and fed us that way, too. The food was high quality, fresh, and of hefty portion. What a gem to pan out of the barren landscape. It isn't a lot to look at, but we didn't show up to take in the sights. It is clean, friendly, and a great place to stop. (See photos) They carry drinks and snacks, too.

In the Historic Greybull Hotel.
Wife and I ate here for dinner and we were thrilled! Wife had steak with sautéed mushrooms and I had the daily special barbecue platter. Both were excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and there was enough for two lunches left over! My dinner was...MoreThank You. Lori & Myles

The pizza is good..a lot better than at the Overland or at either of the bars in town...the Uptown does not offer Pizza or at least not back then; you have to be careful here where you eat...it is small town, the way I know how to make it ..usually not a chef.

Wonderful western food and a genuine wide Wyoming welcome awaits you at this classic Greybull eatery. The menu is wide-ranging,and the prices fully reasonable. The food is delicious and wholesome, whilst the servings are huge. We had a large steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The service is super-friendly. The restaurant is located in a basement, homely and nicely decorated. A lovely place for dinner!

I ate here whilst spending a night in Greybull visiting Bighorn NP and I can't say a bad word about the place, I was pleasantly surprised! The combo plates were great value, and the chicken and black bean sauce was so good! (It is my all time favourite dish and it was so tasty.) We had the soup too which was also really tasty (and I think possibly even free? But don't quote me on that). And the service was friendly. I visited CA on the same trip and the food I ate in chinatown was nowhere near as good as this place. Really impressed, would highly recommend.

Yummy Diner food: Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Fresh hand made 1/3 lb patty hamburgers made daily, 18 different specialty burgers to choose from. Chicken sandwiches, variety of lettuce salads and fresh side dishes. Also homemade cinnamon rolls, made from scratch pies, and Wilcoxson's ice cream- made as a cone, shake, malt or sundae. Friendly hometown environment, stop by and enjoy!
We had breakfast here during our stay in Greybull. My wife had an omelette and I had the classic breakfast. Both were good and had generous portions. The service was good and the old Greybull class banners made for an interesting decor.Thank you for your review and your kind words. We are happy to hear your dining experience was enjoyable and that you enjoyed our decor as well. We appreciate your business and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Greybull is a very pleasant town and the Uptown was a wonderful surprise. The locals were there in force and the server was friendly and helpful, the food not pre-frozen but made on premise. Sure there was smoking allowed but I've always been of the opinion that those who are so adamant about non-smoking are elitist and extreme in their opinions about the health effects of secondary.....but I digress. The place is great and I don't smoke.
