The colors and flavors of the Mediterranean come to life at Mediterraneo, located on the exclusive Greenwich Avenue in the heart of Greenwich, Connecticut. Bathed in the soothing tones of sand and sea, the restaurant features an inviting outdoor terrace and a contemporary dining room where soft, undulating lines mirror ocean waves. This elegant nautical theme is carried over to the menu, which highlights fresh, succulent seafood as well as elevated Italian favorites
We all went for a family dinner for a Christmas lunch the day after.
I had the lentil soup and chicken Milanese which was very good.
Kathy had a Caesar salad and the ravioli with mushrooms. It was outstanding.
Andrew had the Bronzino which he said was great.
Brian and Chris had the chicken Milanese as well.
Good service.

This fantastic establishment in downtown Port Chester offers a wide array of freshly baked items ( breads, muffins, scones, croissants, pies, cupcakes, cookies) PLUS delicious homemade soups and salads and sandwiches and a lovely salad bar. There are ample tables for dining in, too. Service is friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the drive from Westchester and lower Fairfield County.

We lived in Greenwich between 1979 and 1985. This shop was a mainstay for our at home entertaining. The products were many, the displays were excellent and the freshness was outstanding. My wife and I visited in July and were surprised to find some of this lacking. The place seemed a bit dingy. Within sight there were baking machines stacked up in the corner within view of the front counter. There was not as much product visible as we remember. We presume that the owners can not be the same. Some good things come to an end. We did not purchase any product or sweets.

nspired by a healthy, outdoor lifestyle, bartaco combines fresh, upscale street food with a coastal vibe in a relaxed environment. bartaco is specialty cocktails crafted with fresh-squeezed juices, beer out of a bottle, and hand-held foods delivered on metal trays. The rustic beach resort design complements the spirited bold and bright flavors of bartaco’s eclectic menu. The stylish ambience, cocktails, and freshly prepared tacos and “not tacos” create an unforgettable experience.
I've been to bar taco 3 times. The first by choice which was a very mediocre experience; huge wait, lousy drinks, cold food and poor service. Went back the next 2 times because friends insisted. Same experience as first time, however now I hear we have been exposed to hepatitis?! What in the world is the BOH thinking about reopening this place? Sorry, once again too much Instagram hype and no substance. And a side order of an infectious disease.

Since Rafael Palomino—Sonora’s Executive Chef and Proprietor—opened the doors to this, his flagship Latin-fusion restaurant, he has received accolades from a broad customer base, including an “Excellent” from the New York Times. This creative, Colombian-born (Queens-raised) chef and author of five cookbooks, has since opened 8 more restaurants that span three states (New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania). Sonora, like Palomino’s other restaurants, boasts excellent service and mouth-watering dishes, paired with an extensive wine list and cocktail offerings. In addition to impeccable service and delicious dishes, Sonora’s two-story home offers guests the possibility of having a custom-designed and catered on-site private party, for any occasion, from 12 to 110 people.
We have dined here dozens of times and still think it is one of the overall best restaurants around. Service, food, presentation and plating, bar- all are wonderful. We arrived early enough to enjoy the happy hour specials. Food and beverage. The calamari is absolutely...MoreThank you for your review, Sam! The food is consistently good, you will never be disappointed! The food is fresh but be willing to wait for a table as it's always crowded. But the line does move quickly.

We were extremely delighted that we dined at this very fine restaurant. Our table was very special on an enclosed porch with a view of the garden. Service is very attentive and the decor, atmosphere and food was wonderful. We would not hesitate for one moment to recommend and return to this fine establishment.

We went there to celebrate our weeding birthday. The food was very nice. The cosmopolitan is awesome, one of the best I know. Really recommend this place.

We selected Char most of all because of their vegetarian and gluten-free options. But their selections for carnivores were equally superb.
Four of us sampled the full range of Char's menu. Our two friends are strictly vegetarian, one of them gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, and allergic to anything corn. My wife and I, on the other hand, eat and enjoy everything.
Our friends rejoiced in the grilled cauliflower appetizer and soup, zucchini pasta with salmon and vegetarian pasta. I loved my jambalaya, as a lifelong devotee of Cajun cuisine. The french toast bread pudding ala mode should not be missed.
Service and ambiance are equal to the food. Given the quality of the whole Char dining experience, the bill at the end was reasonable.
