The cinnamon raison bread is to die for, we also bought a dozen assorted donuts, I think the fried cinnamon w/maple frosting was the best. We will make this a regular stop when we are up north.

Home of the Lumberjack Breakfast. Breakfast served all day.
Stopped here for a late breakfast before heading home from the Graying area. The restaurant was packed (Sunday) and there was a line but we were seated very quickly. Our waitress was wonderful the other patrons friendly and our breakfast was very good. We have dined here before but it had been a number of years and it is just as good every time.

Wimpy's is a fun place to stop for ice cream in Grayling. They have lots of choices and flavors and the prices are decent. Lots of patio seating and a good sized parking lot. The kids liked the little kids' bench and the totem pole.
We also ordered some nachos which were only so-so.
But we love the ice cream!

Adorable multi-use storefront with delicious chocolate goods, novel coffee creations, and a very comfortable atmosphere. I think my other review for this location might have vanished, so hopefully this one sticks!

We'd been roaming the town, and wanted to relax. Mochas really did the trick. The barista (and owner?) enjoyed explaining how mochas are made, and why. Interesting.

Good value and they have a military discount. The staff were friendly and it was good nostalgia for us, as my hubby is originally from the area. Next to the local Chinese restaurant for a quick bite to eat afterwards.

Hard to beat the wood fired Chicken Tomato Pesto flatbread pizza. In fact all of the menu items are freshly made in the kitchen. Their beer menu is great also. If you are going to Grayling Michigan or just passing through this is a must stop to rest, relax, and have a bite to eat.

Stopped here on Friday night in March. While it was busy, we didn't have to wait for a table. Rustic tables and seats, lodge/outdoorsy decor lend to a casual atmosphere. Had a burger that was pretty good. Nice craft beer selection. Staff could have been a little more attentive but overall a good experience. Would return.

Popped in with friends on our way to Bellaire. Convenient stop off of I-75. We got beer flights, five 3 oz pours. They had 4 of their own beers and several other craft brews on tap. Pretty good selection actually. Wasn't terribly impressed with the Dead Bear brews, but still enjoyed it. Also bottled beer and wine. For our snack we had the sampler and artichoke dip. Both were great and we devoured them. Service was fast and friendly.

This is a combo of fly shop, restaurant & lodge. Rooms are basic motel style with full bath, dressing area, and bedroom/sitting area with TV, small table & chairs in front of a large picture window over-looking a lovely stream. They provide excellent fishing guides for the Au Sable River. Food is good at the restaurant.
