J. Gilbert's is an "upscale casual" steakhouse serving prime-aged beef cooked over a mesquite wood-fired grill. Guests enjoy various cuts of steak, fresh seafood (including award-winning crab cakes) & other house made favorites like the Maytag Blue potato chips & chocolate velvet cake. The cozy atmosphere includes fire side dining, rich wood, brick & soft lighting where you can enjoy dinner for two or host a large party. The extensive martini & wine list offers the perfect compliment to an excellent meal delivered with attentive service. J. Gilbert's is open for dinner seven days a week, beginning at 4pm. Reservations are highly recommended.
We ate here again and they revised their 1/2 price wine on Mondays and now I will give this restaurant an EXCELLENT review. The food is awesome and the staff is professional and courteous. My favorite restaurant in Glastonbury.

Modern American cuisine..All fish served wild caught, never frozen.. All beef products grass fed . ( Piedmontese beef line from Nebraska.. All vegetable hand sourced from Exec chef Lucas Kyriakos..
My husband and I had dinner here on a Friday night and it was wonderful! From the atmosphere to the service and food, everything was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the chili nachos appetizer, which was enough for several to share. The salmon was expertly prepared with a nice brown crust and perfectly cooked interior. We even splurged on dessert and the tiramisu was absolutely worth it! We will definitely be returning soon!!

I read some good reviews of this restaurant and wanted to stop in to try it out. The buffet on Saturday afternoon was delicious with several choices. I would recommend this restaurant as it is one of the best Indian food spots in the greater Hartford area.

This was a gathering of friends and the evening was very nice. The rooms are a bit crowded and rather noisy but the food is good and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers and the wine list, which was varied and reasonably priced.

Get there early. This place fills up quickly with regular locals on Saturday. Seems like everybody knows each other there. The reason they are so popular is the very good food, great service and lightning fast kitchen. The meat lovers omelette is prepared pillow style with a nice portion of meats and cheese and is very good. The 12 grain toast is good and the coffee is great. The server was friendly and prompt. She also did the follow-up on the entree and round 2 on coffee.

We heard on T.V. that for National Clam Chowder day today Max was selling their clam chowder for $4 a bowl and donating the proceeds. So we stopped in for a quick bowl at the bar. The chowder was delicious with lots of tender fresh clams and not too many potatoes. Creamy broth was spiked with a hint of Tabasco for a slight kick. Really good. We didn't want drinks, just the chowder, but the service was still attentive and the bartender did not make us feel awkward about not ordering drinks. While we were there we took note of the nice brunch menu and vowed to return when we are looking for a full meal.

Bricco Trattoria is an authentic Italian Trattoria that is farm to table. It has the comfort of Italian farmhouse. Our service is intended to be polite, proper & polished. Our food is meant to be simple, fresh & delicious.
Our book club holds is annual holiday party at Bricco’s. The house wines and specialty cocktails are a great way to start....although a few complained that they weren’t cold enough. Salads and starters were tasty, and full salads were split with no up charge.
Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Pasta choices, especially the penne ala vodka were popular. The scallops and salmon were also delicious. The restaurant is very noisy, ask for a table away from the bar if you want to talk. Service was also spotty, drinks forgotten and needing to ask for water refills.

Located in the growing food center of Glastonbury, this 22+ year old eatery provides an enjoyable dining experience. Their crispy fried calamari with cherry peppers was done perfectly. The other menu option worth noting was there blackened gamberi salad with shrimp, mixed greens, toasted pine nuts and creamy oat cheese dressing

Good times, made locally. So we had this idea. That food can bring people together in a bunch of different ways. Neighbors with neighbors. Locals with local ingredients. And bourbon lovers with bourbons worth loving. In 2006, our idea became; b Restaurants. People come here to be here. For good beer. Cool surroundings. And one burger to rule them all. Gathering is what we do. b Restaurants is where we do it.
All beef patties are ground on site. Extensive appetizer menu and many different beers Lots of burger choices and many other dishes such as lobster Mac and cheese or many salads Big first come first served lounge area No reservations accepted for restaurant area

My husband stopped in for lunch and enjoyed rhe salmon wrap so much he took me there a couple of days later. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in a big strip mall and though we’d been for food shopping several times we didn’t realize this restaurant was there. I felt like a cheeseburger. It was good, but needed a little something. Waitress was very friendly and gave me some Cajun seasoning to perk it up. Fries were good. Husband had fish tacos, which he enjoyed. Lots of options. Great little place to stop by after work when you don’t feel like cooking for a glass of wine and a decent meal. Will go back.
