Despite an event, which is big in this region, which led to a 20 minute wait for a table, and a server who was stretched to the limit, this visit was just as good as our previous visits. To say that it was just as...MoreThanks for your support bk3104! So happy to hear you enjoyed your meals despite the busy pace. Best, Allan

We had always gone to Sawyers just for ice cream but today we decided to eat lunch there. The shrimp, burgers, chicken fingers and lobster role were all delicious ! We ate those inside and then enjoyed our delicious ice cream outside. Their ice cream is absolutely delightful, and so many flavors to choose from!!

The restaurant is location on 20 acres in a 231 year old house. We maintain our own organic garden and feature many local New Hampshire and New England products on our menu. Tavern 27 is a MUST stop on your visit to the Lakes Region of NH.
We had the pleasure of eating at Tavern 27, based on the Inn Keeper from Ballard House's recommendation... And it was PERFECT. Greeted by Phil, he showed us to our table, went over the menu in great detail, as this was our first experience eating TAPAs.
The service was 1st class just as the food was. Great drinks, excellent prices and a menu that can serve so many different eating styles. The venue itself is a work or art. We're heading back to the Ballard House in Oct and we will be eating at the Tavern 27 again... Thanks to Phil and Leslie for making our New Years Eve dinner one that we will remember for a life time....

Located in the Weirs Beach area of Laconia, NH, we offer homemade ice cream and homemade chocolates using family recipes since 1906. We also sell candy by the pound at prices that are hard to beat.
I would have thought that a place that bills itself as a "smorgasbord" would have offered a wide variety of ice creams and toppings, but in reality, there were limited ice cream flavors (about 8 in all) and extremely limited toppings. Couple of fruits and a few regular toppings and that was it. This was extremely disappointing, considering it seems like such a landmark. Really, it was all about the kitschy trinkets you could buy all around the store in different rooms. Truly a sad day when an ice cream parlor doesn't actually focus on ice cream or toppings.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon this coffee shop, located in downtown Laconia. The ambiance is very cute with lots of fashionable "reclaimed wood" and a young vibe. The lattes are very yummy, and the shop specializes in homemade WAFFLES! I had an egg sandwich on a freshly made waffle and it was delicious. I've been twice and from what I can tell, they have a couple of specials each day. The menu is fairly limited, but is high quality, prices are very good, and service is friendly. Note that they are CLOSED on Sundays.

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday. The roast beef was amazing - perfectly pink and most, and I got it with one of the BBQ sauces and cheddar - delicious! My 6 year old had the Pilgrim and declared it the best sandwich she's ever had, and our 2 year old thought his peanut butter sandwich was HUGE and delicious. My husband had a salad, which was also huge, and scrumptious. Afterwards the kids got a cupcake and my husband and I shared some chocolate-covered coconut macaroons, which were so good (the dark chocolate made them!). The service was also great and the restaurant incredible clean. I'd highly recommend this place.

Love the atmosphere and coziness of this little place. Service was great the waitress was extremely friendly and the food was good. The downside was the portions very moderate especially for the extremely high price. Breakfast for 2 cost us $50.00 this morning, over twice the amount of any other place I’ve dined at.

Open till 10pm, variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. Portion sizes are generous. Ice cream is flavorful and creamy. We had the mint chip and cookie dough, both were delicious.

Casual Elegance - fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Children and families welcome.
This has been one of our favorite special occasion restaurants since it opened, but unfortunately that has been changing lately. The location and view of Lake Winnipesaukee are a winning combination, but the quality of the food was very disappointing tonight. The 5 stars are slipping, and that's a shame. This was an incredible place when it opened, and it can be great again.
