Dine in the unique historic ambiance of The Brick, while enjoying classic American cuisine! Serving lunch and dinner Tuesday - Saturday. Check our website for current hours and menus.
We were staying in the area at a nearby hotel and visited the Brick last Saturday night around 6:45pm. We had no reservations and they were entirely booked, but we had no problem sitting at the bar for dinner. Bartender was covering tables too in the dining room (not enough staff?) and my initial reaction was that dinner isn't going to go well, but he really hustled and drinks, food, and service were timely. Our meals were excellent - my wife had the fillet, and I had the crab cakes. The crab cakes were well above average - lots of crab, little filler. I tried my wife's fillet and that was really good, and sort of wished I had ordered that, since I already had overdosed on crabs that weekend (its the Eastern Shore....) Good deserts. Hostess was pleasant and was hustling herself, besides greeting and seating she was fixing drinks and generally keeping the operation moving. Nice to see people doing their jobs well and adapting to a busy night.

Truly nothing out of the ordinary, background music to loud plus no bathrooms equates for me as a no return resturant.

We are a small, casual cafe w/ 10 seats inside & garden seating outside. We do a lot of takeout and serve GREAT organic, fair trade coffee & espresso drinks. All of our baked goods are made on premise's by the chef/owner featuring fresh, local fruits & produce when ever available.
Late one morning we stopped in for coffees, and perhaps to buy some scones to take home, since it was Thursday and the sign said Thursday was the day for scones. We got two mochas, and they were good, but the service...we could have gotten equally good service from a robot. It wasn't unfriendly, it was non-friendly. How'bout a smile and a bit of animation.
There was only one scone left, so I can't comment on them.
I've been told that the sticky buns which are available on two other days of the week are excellent.

The restaurant is funky, in a good way. Small roadside eatery. We had 3 different meals. All excellent. Brisket, pulled pork and ribs. WOW! Nice bark on the brisket with just the right amount or sauce. Fall off the bone ribs, and great pulled pork. Dinners come with 2 sides, all good. Homemade lemonade and sweet tea.
Highly recommended. We will go back!

I've never really had this type of pastry before, but was very pleased! Took some to the family in PA and they really enjoyed them too. This isn't a Danish place, it's the real deal!

I stopped here with my elderly parents while staying overnight in Georgetown. They are always looking for a bargain and this place did great. We all ordered the Turkey and stuffing special which was wonderful. There was a lot of food and everything was tasty. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The best part was that the three of us ate for about $35. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stop here.

Not sure if I wanted to stop and try it, but good thing I did.
These are the best donuts by far!!!. They are what a donut should be - light, fluffy, and delicious! Not heavy and filling like other donuts. These are great any time of the day.
If you have not tried this donuts, them give them a try. I think you will really like them.

Good service. Too much ricotta cheese and the crust was too thin. The sauce tasted like prego spaghetti sauce.
The man at the oven wiped his nose and beard very hairy! Hopefully none of that got in my calzone.
None of the preparers were wearing gloves either. I didn't see any washing of hands either.
Elegant place, nice decor, I was a little early maybe they weren't ready for customers yet.

We wanted to cater a party, and neighbors recommended Patty's. She has a great selection of absolutely delicious, diversified goodies, and everyone raved about our food selection. She also has a place in Lewes now; great for lunch, but get there early, because it's busy!

My wife and I enjoyed the after church. We've eaten here several times but usually for dinner. The buffet included everything you'd expect including scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, sausage and sticky buns plus an omelet station. The food and service were both good.
