My favorite place to eat when visiting my family. Besides the wonderful salads, they serve carrot cake and a large chocolate covered strawberry with the meal. They also have a gift shop ladies.

Govan's Coffee House opened in 2001. We offer a full selection of coffee and specialty espresso based beverages.
While in Gallatin, my wife and I stopped into Govan’s for a cup of coffee and some fresh delights. The café was very busy but the staff was working fast and friendly. I was greeted by a very positive server who quickly took my order....MoreThank you for your visit with us! We look forward to your return soon! Have a Blessed Day! (JER 29:11)

My wife, younger son and I went to Top Hog for a late lunch. Upon entering, the aroma was delicious. We seated ourselves and a waitress promptly appeared at our table. I had to barbecue chicken plate with baked beans, potato salad and hoe cakes. My wife had the barbecue baked potato. My son had the ribs with a baked potato, cole slaw and hoe cakes. The barbecue was very good, but not the best I have eaten. The baked beans and potato salad were average. The cole slaw was maybe the best I have ever tasted. The sweet tea was also some of the best restaurant tea that these southern tea experts have had the pleasure to enjoy!

Visiting with friends we joined together for lunch at Swaney Swift's on the Square finding very good service, amazing food, comfortable atmosphere and reasonable pricing. I had the chicken blue cheese sandwich, others enjoyed spinach sandwich, hamburgers. The sweet tea was truly southern brewed. A definite go back to restaurant again to taste other items on menu.

I found Campione's after my sister moved to Gallatin. As Chicago transplants, it was unbelievable to discover an outpost of Chicago's finest sandwich in Nashville. And they have crinkle fries, too! My order is the combo - Italian beef, Italian sausage with sweet and hot...MoreThanks for the review. We're always happy when people who know Italian beef stop by.

We don’t get to the square often, but stopped at Starr Ranch on a rainy afternoon. They are in a historic building just off the square. The decor is ole time Sumner County.
Our exuberant waiter enthusiastically reviewed our lunch choices and we went with the two for ten choices. The bride always judges on chicken salad and was well pleased. My Greek salad was more than expected in quantity and quality. A picture is included. The BLT was unique with fried green tomatoes and ?pimento cheese.
We will be back.

I visit this Chick Filet when in town and I have been disappointed my last few visits. I am not sure what kind of oil you all are using to fry the grease but it has a aftertaste that not to good. I love chick filet and don't know what's going on here. They gave me a new sandwich with no problem but it was the same taste. Maybe they need to change the oil more often. Wasn't a burnt taste but it was not a pleasant taste either.
Thanks,

We visited them 2 days within the American week (Wed & Sat) in a row, with friends. On Wed. waitstaff was excellent and timely. On Sat., it was a different story and experience entirely. We wanted to return due to both staff and food. However, Sat was a total bust. It took us over an hour and a half to get the meals and the when we got it it was no where near the overall experience the previous visit. Not much was different except they did have a few more guests. So, two times, two different experiences! Gave an avg rating based on both visits!

Pizza is consistently good. Hamburgler eerily tastes like a McDonalds hamburger. Nashville Hot Chicken is good, but not spicy like suggested. Good ol' pepperoni and mushroom hits the spot. Not crazy about letting customers draw on the furniture, walls - I get it, but I like a clean chair to sit on. Otherwise, keep em coming, Prince's.
