Frisco in Colorado is a small town close to several ski resorts. With fantastic scope for skiing and other outdoor pursuits as well as being a great base from which to explore Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, Frisco describes itself as the Main Street of the Rockies, and is a great place for a family holiday. The first stop for many tourists in Frisco will be the Frisco Nordic Center at the Peninsula Recreation Area, with facilities for skating, cross country skiing and snowshoeing throughout the winter months. The Breckenridge and Copper Mountain ski resorts are also nearby and provide all sorts of skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Any outdoor enthusiast will certainly find a huge range of ski trails and activities for all levels of experience and ability. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can even take the whole family white water rafting! In the evenings, Frisco is a small town, but contains an impressive number of restaurants, shops and nightlife. And if you need a break from the slopes, the Frisco Historic Park & Museum is great for kids, a collection of preserved and reconstructed historic buildings which chart Frisco's development from trapper camp to mining town to its present day tourist haven.

The Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe has been in business for about 40 years. It is the local's and tourist's favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Every recipe is handcrafted from scratch in our kitchen and we bake everything fresh daily in our bakery. We also offer cappuccino, vanilla skinny lattes, homemade bloody marys and bubbly mimosas! We have been VOTED #1 by Trip advisor, Yelp and Urbanspoon for 4 years in a row, due to our friendly service, efficient kitchen, reasonable prices and most importantly, great food! We offer both full table service and quick counter service for those in a hurry. Our goal is to bring you the best breakfast and lunch experience around. Come check us out today, you won't be disappointed!
Friendly service in a down home environment. Food is both creative and yummy! Everything is fresh and perfect. You won’t leave hungry...... yet, you should take home some cookies for later!
I’m a local fan. I especially like to come after kayaking for brunch. Hey..... who wouldn’t like a mimosa with a casual meal?

Four friends touring Frisco ended up inside Foote's Rest because the historic building once housed the Frisco Post Office. The old mail slots are still in tact in the wall of the lobby.
Once inside the store, you can't help but notice the fudge counter directly in front of you, and none of us have any willpower when it come to fudge. We chose the mint chocolate - a little pricey at $6 for a mall square, but oh so good.
Foote's Rest has an outdoor picnic area in the back where you can enjoy your fudge or ice cream. In addition to sweets, they'll also rustle up some bar-b-q or a breakfast burrito. You can buy a beer (pricey @ $6) or a cocktail with your sandwich.
I was more impressed with the history of the building than the eatery. 510 Main was home to an assay office in the late 1800s, where miners went to have their gold and silver weighed and assessed.

Stopped by for a cup of coffee after lunch down the street. Service was quick, friendly, helpful and the coffee was great! A nice place to stop by and relax a bit! Go for it!

This is one of the few times that I felt like the reviews on Trip Advisor let us down. First, the hours posted on TripAdvisor are wrong. If you show up when they first open, only the bar area is open and a limited menu. I hate to sound picky – but here goes: It was really over priced for what you received and in terms of quality and taste. Serving water with ice would be a nice start versus tepid tap water. One of our dishes came out just warm as well. I presume that the hype is that this is located in a ski resort area but it is nothing special in our opinion. I see that many people disagree based upon other reviews so try it for yourself and make up your own mind.

It's summer time now and it's time to bike in for some iced coffee and bagels for breakfast. Abbeys is great.

The Lost Cajun is run by some nice folks from New Orleans that came to the Rockies. They brought all the recipes but left some of the Nawleans style and flavor back home. Our server also acted as bus boy, calling out orders to the chef, ringing up customers - multitasking efficiently and with wit to the max. PO Boys, Jambalaya, crawfish etoufee and other typical New Orleans style dishes...just lacked that special New Orleans ingredient - awesome flavor.

Our family stopped in for pizza and pasta after arriving in town after a long day of travel. The dining area was small, but service was great and friendly. We had a large pizza and my son tried the Fettuccine Alfredo - both were excellent.

This place has delightful German food and beer. The staff was great, the atmosphere a bit crowded and over filled with "stuff" but fun nonetheless.
We particularly enjoyed the family style seating. We ended up chatting with some guys from the east coast who were in for a ski week. After swapping puppy photos, they were off to their next stop, as were we. Just good clean bar chat! Love it!

The 5th Avenue Grille is a neighborhood eatery crafting elevated food paired with genuine hospitality in our unpretentious mountain surroundings. We believe in using real, wholesome ingredients prepared with care and imagination for a happier healthy life. Our service staff is professional with a casual vibe to make everyday a reason to celebrate.
We've been here before and returned for a happy hour and Valentine's day. Happy hour in the bar is quite pleasant. Friendly and some good values there in drinks and appys. Even non-specials are pretty good and burgers are great. Whiskey list is good. Wine by the glass, not so good.
Valentine's dinner was a bit disappointing. Only table available was way out in right field corner. Service was good, but food was just average.
This is a nice place for a group, but not a date.

We decided to try the Log Cabin instead of our "usual" Frisco breakfast spot. Reasonably priced and good food selection. Left thermos of hot delicious coffee on table which was great too! My husband had a generous omelette and I had good choices but opted for an egg sandwich with vegetables on a bagel. Neither of us could finish but we really enjoyed the food.Next time, oatmeal or homemade hash!
