I recently visited Fremont and was driving around looking for a place to eat. I almost stopped at a mexican restaurant but as I was driving down the street I could smell the wonderful smoke coming from a smoker. I quickly found the source of the smell and found myself at Huey's. This location is small and decorated in typical roadhouse decor. I ordered a brisket sandwich and two sides for my meal. The sides were okay but nothing spectacular. The brisket was served on a toasted kaiser bun, The meat had wonderful smoke ring which meant this meat truly was smoked. I tried both the regular and spicy sauces. The house sauce was sweet and the spicy had some kick to eat. I thought the sides were a little small when i first got them, but when I was finished with my meal I was stuffed. If you like BBQ you need to visit Huey's. Prices were average for a BBQ meal. I smoke at home and most people don't truly know the time and effort it takes to produce a smoked product. As I left I rolled down the window and took a big wiff of the smoke coming off of the smoker in back of Huey's. I'll be back on my next visit to Fremont.

Excellent Thai food! My favorite dish at the moment is the Seafood Tom Yum. It's a bowl full of delicious, comforty, bliss. Lunch special is a pick-2 deal that is quite a bargain. I've eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed.

This place is great! The owner knows more about coffee, beans, and teas, than anyone I have ever met. The place is always clean and the people are friendly. Don't be surprised if you come in and someone you don't know strikes up a conversation with you. Like typical coffeehouses, there are books all over, a number of games, and comfy chairs/couches. This one just seems friendlier. It opens at 7 in the morning and goes to 2 in the afternoon. Don't be surprised if you manage to get talked into trying a yoga class.
It's a great place to take a break in downtown Fremont. You'll see the red hat club here from time to time, bankers, insurance agents, farmers, policemen, and the retired folks all visiting about the latest news and gossip in Fremont. One of my favorite places to relax!

Recently opened. Tried it last night and wanted to write a review.
They have up scaled this restaurant from years ago. Prices were a bit high, but steaks were done properly and had great taste! Was seated quickly. Limited menu, Waitress was very friendly - checked on us, filled our water. Service was very good!!! Disappointed in...MoreThank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to help us in the future.

My son ordered a caramel flan latte and it was divine-this won me over as it has been extremely difficult to find a half decent coffee in the US. So I asked the lovely man what was his specialty. He mentioned something starting a v?? I chose two shots of coffee and it was layered with milk, caramel and coffee. You drink it all in one and it was absolutely magic! You get the hot and cold sensation as you drink it. Lovely young man-fantastic service!

We wanted something different and remembered this place next to Sapp Bros. We came on a Wednesday evening and were surprised we got in. Place is popular for dinner service. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs. My husband did the 2 piece brosted chicken. Really good food with really good portions. The only problem was the noise. You can't escape a noisy table because this is an old fashioned diner "car." But because the food and service were so good, we will be back.

I've eaten at J's many times and usually well received. Tonight my GF and I both ordered prime rib medium rare and both came barely medium. Waitress seems to be hurried and more interested in a larger table of birthday celebration regulars, and we couldn't get her attention just to get some butter. I will consider other options than Js, such as driving into Omaha, in the future.

Runza is a great place to eat. It is sort of like home cooking, but you don't have to cook. If you have never had a cheese Runza you have to try one.

We had breakfast there. They have a large selection of choices. They offer several specials. The portions were generous & prices were very reasonable. They also serve lunch & dinner. They have a large selection of pies also. They have special pricing on carry out chicken too. The atmosphere is pretty plain, but food is great!
