This is a little restaurant with a great selection and moderately priced. It is on the main street of town right by the town park. Go There.
We happened upon this place while meeting with a contractor. We knew we were in the late dinner hour and looked on Yelp for what was around. We only go for "4+ stars" in Yelp so we were planning after our meeting on going there. We inquired with the contractor about the place upon our meeting being over and he recommended it as he was after all a local. Seating outside was inviting but with the late summer evenings I knew our kids would be a bit chilled so to avoid whining, we ventured to eat inside. While the place is a bit dated, I surmised that I wasn't there for the decor, I was there for the 4+ reviews on Yelp! Service was spot on even at the 9pm hour. We were not rushed. The two homemade soups were fantastic. The salad dressings are superb (not your ho-hum homemade versions of italian, ranch and bleu cheese) and there are plenty of new inviting choices to choose from. My husband had the Mango Salsa Salmon and I the Strawberry Rhubarb chicken. Both choices fantastic (I know because my husband and I pick two different choices and share both). We were invited to dessert but we passed as it was going on 10pm and the kids were sleepy. We are planning on returning in October and bringing my parents. We are looking forward to it.

Bossa Nova Café & Roastery, is a great mix of American and authentic Brazilian style coffee shop that roasts its own *Organic Fair Trade Coffee from all over the world on a weekly basis. We have a full espresso bar, authentic Brazilian drinks and food item, comfy chairs & free (fast!) Wi-Fi. All of this in a great international atmosphere where everyone is sure to feel welcome!
Stopped in for a cup of coffee during a walk around Franklin and really enjoyed it. If I didn't already have breakfast I would have tried more of what they had to offer. Very nice selection of drinks. I went for basic coffee but would like to return to try something else!
Owner is very friendly and very nice atmosphere. Neat little worth checking out. I'm glad I did!

The Oil City-Franklin area is filled with tastee-freeze joints. Polly's, though, is the cream of the crop. There is such a variety of shakes and other treats. My Chicken Sandwich was awesome. They also offer not only the usual burgers and dogs, but items such as pulled pork. This place really takes me back to my childhood. And the service is very friendly, which just makes you want to return again and again

This is a great little place located in a remodeled Victorian house where I live. I eat here often, taking friends and business associates. Everyone I have taken has really enjoyed the food and ask for a return visit next time they are in town. Food is always fresh and wonderfully seasoned. I highly recommend the yam soufflé side dish - nice warming comfort food. Service is always friendly. It is a popular place, so it may take a little longer to get served and your food, but worth the wait.

This is a great little ice-cream shop and a sweetheart of an owner. We don't stop as often as before, we've cut back goodies. We love to stop, have a cone, and visit with the owner and her grand-daughter. The cones are good and she is generous. It's hours were a bit hit&miss in 2015, due to health. better days ahead for her we hope. Stop if you see her open for a treat!

Food excellent and very good. Waitress really nice and very good service. Inviting ambience and prices are good. Lasagna was excellent. Closed Sunday except open for Apple festival. Definitely will go back. (my sister lives an hour a way and goes there at least 1-2 times a month for their lunches)

There is an Apollo "boilerplate" capsule in front and a plane that kids love inside this restaurant.
To avoid using up all the really expensive furnished spacecraft, "boilerplate" versions of the Apollo mission capsules were created for unmanned land and water impact tests and other purposes. Some never went anywhere, but luckily this one nabbed a post-Apollo mission to encourage human-cone encounters.
I bought a cup of coffee as sort of an admission ticket, and it was just ok.

This local fast food restaurant offers very good burgers and fresh cut fries. The service is somewhat spotty but that comes with local high school help. There are nice tables outside around back over looking the Allegheny river that are easily missed. Good soft serve ice cream but not at the level of quality hand dipped. Prices are a bit above chain restaurants but worth the money.

I have dined here on several occasions when in the area. Food is always great. They have a nice selection of burgers and sandwiches on the menu as well as dinners. I love the casual environment with a beautiful fireplace. I would relocate the unsitely kitchen door that can be seen and heard throughout the dining room.

Linda Lou's is an excellent, family-owned restaurant. This restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch but is only open for dinner on Friday evenings. The food is served hot and fresh and the portion size of the pancakes are large. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Linda Lou's.
