We recently visited Kabul Afghan Cuisine again. This is one of our very FAVORITE restaurants. The service is spectacular and the food is delicious. The flavors of the food are delicious and the meals are perfectly prepared. The portions are ample and there is an interesting ambience in the restaurant.

- Great breakfast options ( Omelets, Biscuits and Gravy is what we had)
- Friendly Staff
- Wait times can be long (15min to 20min despite it being 10am)
- Parking can be a challenge too as its in a residential neighbourhood - but if you drive around long enough, you can find a spot.
- Definitely check it out if in San Matteo

Godfather's Burger Lounge offers gourmet American cuisine with an elegant European twist. Come enjoy one of our delicious grass-fed burgers.
Whenever we want to have a REAL burger, we head to Godfather's. We especially like it that once they open for the day, they don't close between lunch and dinner. Their burgers are cooked just as you asked for it. We enjoy the Director's Cut...MoreReading this left a smile on my face, so thank you, truly, for the kind words -- it's awesome knowing the burgers have always hit the spot! Can't wait to welcome you back in again soon. Cheers, Mike

We just had a great dinner at this place and were fortunate to get a booking on Sunday. The place was jam packed and noisy with families gathered for dinner. We ordered complete vegetarian fare from spring rolls, paper rolls, Thai papaya salad, green curry with sticky rice , fried rice and pad ke saw. Believe me all items were fantastic. We enjoyed our meal and some service improvement was required, but maybe we ignored due to full crowd. But if you want a good Thai meal, this is the place.

I like Starbucks because it has tasty food and beverages, a clean restroom, and free wifi. This location had all of the things I expect from a Starbucks. I had a grande flat white and the protein bistro box. The food was good. There were several people including myself who were using computers and the wi-fi speed was excellent. I was traveling on business. If I was in the area again, I would stop here.

I would give this restaurant a "0" if I could. The manager/Owner is very arrogant and cares little for his Customers, only his pocket book. We placed a gift certificate on line the Sunday before Christmas, 8 days before Christmas and even called after it was placed and verified when it would be sent out. On Thursday we received a call from the Iron gate asking for some mailing information which we already confirmed that last Sunday. Comes Christmas Eve, no certificate and left us in a terrible circumstance as we were giving it away the next morning. My husband drove with my daughter 40 miles one way there on Christmas Eve interrupting our Christmas Eve dinner to get one issued. The manager never said sorry even after he was told of our hardship driving the distance interrupting our dinner. He was upset my husband asked for a small token for our gas. I called the establishment when I heard from my husband and 12 year old daughter how they were treated hoping the manager wasn't the owner....but unfortunately he is. After a verbal confrontation on the phone and the manager saying that my husband dint even know the name of the person who called us on Thursday so it was "impossible our story", I played the recording for him. He verified it was them but continued fighting with me. Only after I said I was going to post a yelp review did he scream to me on the phone that he was sorry (but he didn't mean it). I am so disgusted with how un-classy this establishment is.

Very good Japanese food with friendly staff. This place gets crowded, so come early. My wife & I have been coming here for about 20 years & have never had a bad meal.
Sushi bar is really nice. The chefs are great & extremely friendly and very helpful.
My wife usually gets the Sukiyaki, which is a very big serving & she ends up taking home about half. I like the Chirashi sushi or the Saba Shioyaki (broiled mackerel). Both of these dishes are really good.
Give Tokie's a try & you won't be disappointed.

Everything is delicious and freshly made to order with deep flavors and tender meat choices. My 3 favorites are: 1) Chile Verde burrito 2) Fish Taco 3) Shrimp taco. The full plates are excellent but the portions are big so bring your appetite. The staff is friendly and the salsa bar has a great selection. This is my favorite taqueria in the San Mateo area.

This is a nice restaurant for a dinner with friends or a cocktail at night. Nice patio, errs towards steakhouse type menu. Not great for vegetarians. Cocktails are really well made. It is always super busy, reserves days in advance. If it were not so busy, I’m not sure it would garner as much attention as it does, l think once it gathers a following, it snowballs on itself. Still, overall it’s a nice dinner place with deep banquets for a long dinner, or to hang out at the bar scene.

Nothing either special or wrong that I can see at Penelope's except location and parking. This is a bit off the beaten path in Foster City and parking is a bit tight in what is basically a housing complex. Food and beverages are fine. Seating is fine.
