OMG OMG OMG is all I could say throughout todays breakfast. Stopped by on a whim on our way to Thomasville, GA. OMG, OMG, OMG. This place is amazing! We walked in noticing carts out front, laughing about them at an orchard. Ah, NO. you NEED a cart. We were pleasantly greeted by an older gentleman upon entering the market. We used the VERY clean and well kept restrooms, then headed to the cafe. First, the amazing looking pastries stare at you....PICK ME!! PICK ME! ...Well, I INTENDED to take to go, but got so distracted, I forgot. Anyway. I ordered the Pecan, cinnamon french toast, my daughter, simply pancakes. The cashier was AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY!! There was also a gentleman (originally from Buffalo, I believe he said),and another lady that also spoke to us, offered to make us chocolate milk as they didnt carry it. TALK ABOUT SERVICE! I can't comment on the prior gals review stating the place is rude, but we found that totally not the case. These people were genuine and went above and beyond to be helpful and amazingly polite. I also question her stating she goes every sunday and always enjoyed it and ONE time possibly had a questionable experience so she throws them under the bus and wont return? Hasn't she ever had a bad day??
Anyway..my review is 11 stars on a 1-5 scale.
IF YOU ARE WITHIN 100 MILES, the detour is worth it!.
We also shopped the market, bought a friend some amazing homemade bread to cheer them up as they've been under the weather. Salsa, pecans....etc lots and lits. The orchard consists of over 3000 acres of Pecan trees and 3000 acres of peach trees....plus everything else they grow. HUGE, but the MOST IMPRESSIVE was every employee in that market building. I cannot say enough about the Cafe gentleman, the ladies in the cafe we spoke to, the young lady in the market we chatted to about the cafe, then the two sweet ladies at the checkout counter. I Am a raving fan now. (can you tell?)
Awesome! Can you teach the rest of the country your manners and hospitality? Thank you ALL so very much for making a last minute stop turn into a wonderful memory!
Oh..and breakfast..I never mentioned breakfast..the simple pancakes were THE absolute best my daughter has ever tasted. (she loves pancakes!). But, I just know they do not compare to the Pecan cinnamon French toast. MELT IN MY MOUTH. THE ABSOLUTE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD IN my many many years in this world (sorry mom, not even close )

Everything we have ever eaten there is absolutely wonderful. Everything from the homemade pickles, coleslaw to fried catfish and low country boil. The food and service is top notch, the atmosphere is nothing fancy and the restaurant itself is out of the way and hard to find the first time, but well worth it. In between Perry and Fort Valley down Hwy 96 west of 75. Only open two weekends a month, so plan your trip around the open days on the calendar.

The setting is a 1903 passenger train depot that has been brought back to life. It is very casual and full of character. You order at the counter and then the food is brought out to your table, where you can enjoy the sounds of passing trains. We greet all of our first visitors with a toot from our own train whistle.
Ate lunch here twice this week while working nearby. The food is fresh and very good. The locomotive burger and the steak fajita wrap were really good this week. A relaxing place for lunch. Would love to try their breakfast sometime.

My daughter and I usually go every other Friday night...the response we get when we only order large margaritas and dessert is a bit cold. We ALWAYS leave a 25% tip, or more. The waitress acts as if we are a waste of her time.

We have been here many times and have never been disappointed. The owner is always here which,in my opinion, is necessary for a good restaurant. Everything is very good, but the guacamole is top notch and always fresh.

I did not have high expectations but have heard about Nu Way for so long and seen the PBS program on hot dogs several times that I felt I had to stop when I saw this location. We all got a dog dressed differently and we all enjoyed. Place is not fancy but it was clean and the service was prompt and friendly. Glad stopped.

When it's time to eat some fish in Fort Valley I choose to eat with a local friend . The fish n chicken is what I ordered and it was some of the best tasting fish I had in quite some time. Every time I come here it is never to busy to bring a group with you to have a good time eating

We wandered into this place while visiting the area. Saw a sign for a Friday special, "All You Can Eat Fish" for $8.99. We went in and discovered the best cooking I have been around in years! Fresh, Fresh, Fresh catfish. I ordered a side of fried okra and it was at least 3 cups full! Everything was wonderful, then a gentleman customer kept telling us to try the Peach Cobbler. OMG it melted in your mouth. I am known for my cooking but I do declare this was even better than mine! Besides that the waitress was so attentive, even running to front door to help elderly customers to their cars! Heck we aren't elderly but she insisted on holding door for us too!

I walked to Burger King from my hotel. I ordered a #2 (Double Whopper) with bacon and cheese. Five minutes later my food was handed to me. I walked to my hotel room to eat my meal. I pulled my food out of the bag. My fries and Double Whopper were warm. My burger had too much mayo. The lettuce was wilted. There were two slices of tomato were the size of silver dollars and looked old. The best part of the meal was the drink. I am disappointed in my food and the service. Burger King should have better quality control measures ensuring the food is at the right temperature and be appealing to the eyes. We eat with out eyes and our stomach.

Standard McDonald's decor, the facility was well maintained, the staff was friendly. I had black coffee, orange juice, 2 apple pies and two sausage biscuits for my dog Nikita.
