When in the area I stop in, mostly for the pizza (plain) but the is my personal favorite here. Their other foods are good and the service is always good. There tends to be a wait at night but not so long that you should go some where else.

Went to dinner with friends after attending an event at nearby Drew University. MUST have reservations as we got the last table in the bar area when I called on the same day. We went on a Saturday night and they offered 2 seatings - 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm with a minimum food/beverage fee per person. Live Jazz music is offered nightly and we picked a Latin Jazz night and both seatings were sold out. The service was good and as was the food. My only disappointment was the key lime pie we ordered for dessert which was served in 2 dispositional sizes and not plated very appealingly. If you go to the earlier seating as we did it was nice that we did not feel rushed when guest began to arrive for the second seating, but we knew that we needed to prepare to go and we were pretty much ready since the music set had ended and we had already had dessert and coffee and the check was delivered. I will definitely go again.

Don Jose is one of the rare truly authentic Mexican food restaurants in the area. Traditional décor, perfect service. The chips and salsa were homemade. Service staff was quick and very friendly. The whole family went and all the food was perfectly seasoned. Large portions with rice and beans prepared just right. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. If you are in the area it is a must try.

Up-end italian restaurant with great food but overpriced in comparison to existing similar alternatives. Service atentive.

Welcome to New Jersey's Legendary Steak House Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille, an area landmark and winner of New Jersey Monthly's 'Best Steakhouse' award, offers lunch and dinner daily as well as the finest Sunday Brunch in New Jersey. The restaurant's new design, rich wood paneling and highly polished brass, lends a classic elegance to the sophisticated atmosphere. For an intimate and unique experience, dinner aboard the private Parlour Cars is sure to be remembered. Formerly the private domain of the rich and famous, these beautifully refurbished, turn of the century railway cars are exquisitely complimented by the haute cuisine of Rod's esteemed Executive Chef.
Our family gathering of eight went to Rod's for Sunday brunch, and it was an enjoyable experience. The old-school elegance of the room contributes to the feeling of dining in style. The service was excellent, both attentive and friendly. The food offered is several notches above the ordinary brunches available in the area. Included is an omelette station, a carving station, and a very large selection of salads (including seafood) and cheeses of all types. The dessert table with cakes, pastries, and fruit is varied and delicious. At $30 a head, it isn't inexpensive, but neither is it outrageous. We all agreed it is well worth returning.

Service is great even though there is a line that stretches out the door. The coffee is also great and they do their best to make it fresh. With the long line behind me, the cashier was kind and patient enough to answer all my questions.
The result; a great cup of coffee and box of coffee to go (cups, milk, sugar, and all)
Stop by if you're ever in the area.
Enjoy!

Scalini Fedeli is our go to place for fresh high quality food, impeccable service and traditional ambiance. The menu is quite diverse and chefs are accommodating. The food is just outstanding from seafood, to steaks to pastas. The dining room can get just a bit loud on a Saturday night, but it is a place a celebration and connection. Instead of saving it for a special occasion, I encourage you to give a try just for a nice night out - it really is a good value.

H2Ocean Restaurant & Raw Bar in Cedar Knolls, NJ "From Hook to Plate" Our practices support all local fisheries and vegetable farms. No farmed fish here... Our Team prepares to impress!
Went there for dinner with my husband and son. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, well prepared and very fresh. Our server was Gabby and she was efficient and attentive. I had occasion to speak with the manager Lindsey and she was so very helpful and understanding about a food matter. Can't wait to eat there again!!!

This Baskin-Robbins/Donkin’ Donuts is located in the same busy strip mall as Trader Joe’s and Mc’D’s. They have a nice selection of ice cream flavors which is standard for Baskin-Robbins stores. I tried a pistachio ice cream cone that was full of roasted almonds and my wife had a rocky road cone. The place was rather crowded so we ate them in the car. Watch out for people backing out of their parking spaces.

Seems like that is the way it is supposed to be, but many establishments find it a real challenge to bring your food still hot. We've stopped here several times and never been disappointed. Especially good is the cuban panini which is served with a layer of pulled pork with a spicy barbeque sauce. i've also enjoyed their onion soup. Both my wife and daughters have had various chicken dishes, all good and served hot. Recently my daughter got the meatloaf although we warned her Meatloaf in restaurants is usually not as good as home. I tried it was good. As good as home...I would rather not say. Finally, my Guinness is as good as I've had in the United States.
