We stopped by here last year on our trip back from the beach due to the reviews and we were impressed by the quality of the food reasonably priced. So we chose to stop by again. The place doesn't look like much from the outside...MoreThank you for sharing your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit. We love our Chicken Salad as well and made it from scratch. We look forward to serving you again next time through. Fran Snell - Owner/Operator

We always make an effort to stop in Florence and eat seafood at Tubb’s. We have always enjoyed our choices from the menu. Our choices on this trip were the Bang Bang shrimp po-boy and crab cake sandwich. A side of collard greens did hurt either.

Visit us Wednesday through Saturday evenings to enjoy live music, either in the bar or in our courtyard! And there is plenty of parking in the large lot behind the restaurant.
I would probably rate this restaurant as a 3 1/2, between average and very good. I ordered the brisket platter with the warm loaded potato salad and the spiced baked beans as sides. The serving of brisket was very generous but it was sliced a bit too thick, and cut in pieces about 4 inches long as opposed to the thinner but longer slices typically seen. The takeaway was not the size or thickness, but that the meat was a bit dry and not very juicy. Really good brisket is hard to come by in SC, so I’ll give them kudos on the effort. I lived in TX a long time and I am very familiar with brisket! The two sides were good and the service excellent.

The 3 of us were here about a year ago and were pleasantry surprised how nice the restaurant was and how delicious the pizza was. Once the order is taken, it takes only 90 SECONDS to bake it at 800 degrees. Today---like last time----it was brought quickly by the same very friendly server that we were lucky enough to meet last time (Teresa)! Rebel Pie is still a WINNER!

We stopped by the Hotel Florence by chance and have fallen in love with this unique location. The Victor's staff were wonderful. Jenna was our server and could not have been better. The food was delicious and the Banana praline cheese cake was fabulous. We we gladly return.
They also have an incredible display of art for sell.

We went here for lunch. I ordered the shrimp and spinach salad with hot bacon vinaigrette . My girlfriend ordered lunch size shrimp and grits. We were both pleased with our service and our food was delicious.

We greatly enjoyed our roadside dinner at DZ's. We all had pulled pork sandwich's that were the best we ever had, hands down. Good depth of smoky flavor in the meat with a nice, spicy sauce served on a large, fresh roll with great slaw. Makes me hungry just writing about it. The sandwich was very large and a great value. We loved the taste so much we bought a pound to put in our cooler and bring home to Virginia for dinner the next day. We also got half a rack of ribs that were equally as good. Off the beaten path but worth the trip for genuine bbq from a friendly owner. We sat outside and had our meal on a picnic table in front of the essentially food truck.

Gina and I stopped in for breakfast at the cracker barrel in Florence. We loved the log fire! We had a very nice server and we had blueberry pancakes and an egg sandwich. The BB pancakes were great. I liked the fact they were slightly toasted and the blueberry syrup was a good touch! Gina liked the Turkey sausage. Overall it was a good experience.

Service was not the best. All our salads arrived but 3 and those took forever. Other items requested like more butter or salad dressing were also slow in arriving. The steaks were all very good. Salads were very good. Glasses were refilled in a timely manner. I realize that a group of this size can be challenging but there were at least 4 servers attending. The gratuity was 18%, more than I thought was deserved. Overall our party was satisfied with the food.

The menu changes with the seasons, and features a selection of starters and entrees with both familiar and unexpected ingredients, some of which are from our farm. Locally and responsibly raised meat, pork and seafood options are prepared on a wood-fire grill, served alongside family-style sides. Town Hall offers an extensive list of spirits, local beer, fine wines and well balanced cocktails.
You'd think you were at a James Beard award winning restaurant in Charleston! Had heard about this place and we stopped on our way to the beach. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Has an open kitchen and big beautiful bar. The staff are all very friendly. The food was excellent! Cornbread delicious, deviled eggs with a fried oyster were awesome, the porkchop and steak we had was incredible. You have to try it out!
