Went up for a quick visit to Door County and of course had to stop at Wild Tomato. Got their Sausage Pesto pizza and sat so we could see the stone oven. We can never save enough for a doggie bag it is so good. I would give this place a 5 every time if it wasn’t for the fact I wish they took reservations and their bathrooms Nees a fix up. Otherwise, outstanding!!

Not Licked Yet Frozen Custard has world famous frozen custard treats along with a huge variety of sandwiches, salads, and greaseless french fries we have inside and outside dining very family friendly with a giant playground mama and papa approved. The waterway called Fish Creek meanders thru our property open 7 days a week 11:00 - 11:00
What better place to stop for a snack after a hike in Pennisula State Park which is pretty much right next door. The custards and sundaes are quite tasty and service is always friendly.
They have unique sundaes and flavor combinations that may sound weird, but surprisingly work. On my latest stop I had the Mr. Potato Head Sundae which consists of Vinnila Frozen Custard topped with peanut butter caramel sauce, whipped cream and potato chips. Yup, sounds kind off odd, but it was delicious.
Priced at $6.60, I would not get this everyday, but for a once a year treat it's worth it.

I remember when this building was a clothing store. But now it's a cute restaurant with short order entrees. If you are looking for a quick sand which, good cup of coffee or some hot soup, this is the place for you. You simply order at the counter, find a table, and they'll bring your order out to you. The only thing is that when you pay with a credit card you have to select a 15%, 20%, or 25% tip box on the screen. I'm not happy about that cause I like to tip according to my final evaluation of the food and service?

My family loves the Singing Donut! They have the best fresh donuts and it is so fun to try different combinations. Everyone who works there is so friendly. The lattes are good too. Everything is reasonably priced. A must for us everytime we are in Door County!

What a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights in Door County. This is our 3rd time we have participated in the mid- winter package. It never disappoints. Tried the shaved ice after an hour on the water. My Door County was a little light on flavor. Love the concept, but I'd skip the shaved ice. Custard looked pretty good. My son enjoyed his.We are sorry to hear there wasn't enough flavoring on your ice. Try us again and we'll be sure to add more flavoring! Thrilled to hear your son enjoyed his treat!

Amazing pastries and baked goods. We visited on one of their final weekends of the fall, but are looking forward to trying them again when they open in the spring. Excellent option for loading up on a selection of baked goods for breakfast for a group. You will definitely leave with more than you intended when you walk in the door, but each and every bite was divine!

Upfront confession. My wife and I originally booked dinner for two at the English Inn a stone throw away. We were staying overnight in nearby Ephraim and wanted to revisit a few favorites in the area, off season is the best time here. Driving past Alexander's the parking lot at near capacity. Pulling into the English Inn, six cars. My wife suggested we look at TripAdvisor from the car and find out what the reviews were saying. The first four reviews for the English Inn sealed it, turned around and headed to Alexander's....and so glad we did.
The price even during the off season at first glance is a bit "are we in Chicago or Wisconsin?" Worth it, phenomenal service, great drinks and the food is worth the price. No suit and tie required, though it does have a more formal setting vs many other restaurants in Door County. I would not call this a supper club, far from it. A classy establishment, most vehicles in the lot are not WI if that helps paint the picture. Not a negative, but just giving you an idea of service and expectations here. Overall extremely happy with the meal, expect 2 adults with 2 drinks, 2 desserts, no app to be at least $100 including standard tip.

The Cookery is a family run restaurant and wine bar in Fish Creek since 1977. Serving "fresh food, expertly prepared" (Midwest Living, Best of the Midwest). Our menu features American fare with a creative twist, all menu items are made from start to finish in our kitchen. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served daily. Also offering a nice selection of vegetarian entrees and gluten free items.
Our group of six ladies enjoyed a wonderful local breakfast - food comes from local businesses/farms/etc. I had a wonderful mushroom omelette with pumpkin bread and applesauce! I was so excited to have leftovers to enjoy the next day too!

This is a must stop in Door County. I love their cherry pies. However I tried 3 new pies this trip and I am in love. You have to sample the cherry-peach, cherry-rhubarb, and blueberry. You can't go wrong with any pie here!
