Get there by 7am. Pancakes are the size of a medium pizza. Bring a sticker to put on the wall. So much food and so good.

Scratch restaurant well known for freshly prepared food with quality ingredients. Indoor and outside patio seating. Menus are available on the restaurant website.
Went here for breakfast with a friend and her dog, quaint outdoor patio. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. They have some southwest specials and I ordered the breakfast burrito. I somehow managed to eat the whole thing. My friend got an omelet that was huge and she somehow managed to polish it off too.

We visited at about 1 p.m. on a Saturday. The line was all the way from the counter to the door. It took probably 20 minutes to get to the counter and place our order, and then another 20 or more minutes to get our food. Our lunches arrived without any utensils or napkins; we had to request them at the counter. The sandwiches are very tasty and unique, however, I'm not sure I would wait that long again.

We were visitors to California and had never seen a Vons store before, however we were more than impressed and visited other locations later in the trip. We were looking for chilled ingredients for a pasta dish to eat in our cabin and everything was great, including the wines to go with it!

My doctor says no to ice cream, but I say yes at least once per month. ''This is the best place to go in California for a treat. A great crowd is the sign of a great deal and treat. Don't miss it!

This was a great place to stop and grab some dessert for everyone in my party. From classics like tiramisu (which was fabulous) and chocolate chip cookies to apple pie cake, there is something in these glass cases for everyone. Great spot in town to hang out too; right in the middle of the Village.

Restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. We received a friendly welcome and did not have to wait long for a table. Pleasant and efficient service plus delicious food which was nicely presented.
We shall be pleased to recommend the Peppercorn - and indeed the remarkable Big Bear resort when we return to England.

Went as a guest awhile back on a week night. They do have a bbq going during the weekends during summer. Food prices are very good with better than average quality. Nice place to stop while on north shore.

It's pretty much tradition that I stop here and have an ice cream cone with family when I'm up in Big Bear. I love this little shop. The service is always friendly. This last time I went (Sept 2016), we got 10% off with our Saucy Mama's receipt. Stop by and have some ice cream!
