All of the entrees are delicious and the service is fast and friendly. The guacamole is especially good. I really like the vegetable burritos. Lots of food at a reasonable price. I have never heard any of my friends complain. Everyone loves this restaurant.

SMOQEHOUSE is a fast casual BBQ fusion restaurant featuring artfully crafted sandwiches, salads and soups! All ingredients are locally sourced and made fresh daily. Located INSIDE the Mall. Walk in/carry out only. Gift cards available.
Stopped over on the way back to the Twin Cities. Went off the recommendations on Trip Advisor. Granted the location is a bit depressing but don't let that stop you from enjoying a good meal. I had the shaved beef and wife had the brisket burger. Both were excellent. I'll be back when passing through

This is an interesting restaurant in an old train depot. The menu is fairly large and a bit unique. There were several elk entrees on the menu along with some twists on traditional items. There were three in our party and we all enjoyed our entrees. No problem with a couple of special requests. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Seen this restaurant when visiting another place for pizza one night and thought we'd try it. So very glad we did! It's way bigger than first glance and has four different seating areas plus a little counter area. Very clean, great ambiance, friendly and attentive wait staff, great food! What more could you ask for!! They only serve breakfast and lunch and since we've tried breakfast, can't wait to try lunch. I had the veggie omelet(pictured) which came with fresh fruit and toast. My husband had the Bernie special...2 eggs, toast, bacon and fruit. The Bernie special has several other options to choose from also. We went on a Sunday and they were busy but we still got in right away. Our new go to place!!

I had lunch here with a couple of friends. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. They have very good lunch specials which are reasonably priced. This is generally a pretty busy place but they have very good service.

Just stumbled upon this unique factory cheese and wine bar, and company cheese store while visiting friends in the area. Not a wine bar in the sense of romantic surroundings but a very unique ultra wide wooden surround bar with great local, company cheeses, ok wines, small selection of craft beers and an atmosphere one might find in a dairy type store. Nothing wrong with that, just come with the right frame of mind. We absolutely loved it. Learned about the sandstone caves in Faribault keeping the interior temperature at a constant 52.5 degrees for perfect aging of the best bleu cheese fund anywhere. We are definitely coming back when we have more time. Loved it - unique place with character all its own - not fancy, just great cheeses and knowledgeable staff (Colin), and the kind of bar you just don't find very often. We took home a bag chock full of the company cheeses. FYI - Great bakery in same building - don't miss it on the way out. We certainly did not.

We checked this bar out around 8:30 or 9 o'clock. It was getting full and the atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar and were immediately asked what we needed. The drinks were good and they had a good selection of beer. We ended up ordering a pizza and we were absolutely blown away with the deliciousness of this creation. The sauce was fantastic, but it wasn't just the sauce. The entire presentation with the fresh cheese, slightly spicy pepperoni and quality sausage. The crust was perfect for the amount of ingredients and wasn't too thin either. I would recommend this be a destination for anyone who likes a great bar, with great food and attentive wait staff. The atmosphere was also just right.

I visit Faribault frequently and I have always been disappointed by the lack of good restaurants until my mom recommended this little gem just outside of town overlooking Roberds Lake.
It's a short drove just west of town and it's easy to find.
Service is cheerful and fast.
My mom enjoyed her broiled shrimp wit sweet potato fries. I had a blue cheese burger with batter-fried onion rings that were excellent. The burger was just OK. I also ordered fried green beans as an appetizer. They were a little overcooked.
We went on a Saturday night andI think I made mistake by not ordering the prime rib special. I saw many plates of it passing my table. Looked excellent.
