For a weekend of fun and relaxation, you don't have far to go. North Dakota's largest city gained a certain measure of modern fame with its 1996 movie namesake. But Fargo is more than a city of friendly folks and flat accents. Local museums will please art lovers, children and baseball enthusiasts. After a family visit to the Red River Zoo, parents can unwind at local area lounges, many of which offer casino gaming. In Fargo's sister city of Moorhead, Minnesota, The Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center has replicas of a Viking ship and a Norwegian Stave church. Back in Fargo, Bonanzaville USA gives modern visitors a taste of pioneer life.

Mezzaluna is a casual fine dining establishment cleverly hidden off Broadway in Downtown Fargo. Classic Artisan Food & Drinks are the specialty. Chef Eric Watson has designed a menu to suit everyone's palate. From our House-Ground Burger in the bar to Grilled Duck Breast & Leg Confit in the dining room. Mezzaluna is located in the historic Lofts on Roberts Street Building. The Lofts on Roberts was built in 1917 as the Smith, Follett & Crowl office and warehouse. Kilbourne Group worked diligently to preserve and maintain the integrity of many of the building's historical features, including a pressed metal ceiling, large windows, corbelled brick, simplistic stone trim, wood joists and beams, and wood flooring. Perfect atmosphere for the Classic Artisan Food & Drink of Mezzaluna. Imagine sitting in this classy historic setting while sipping on a Gin Fizz or a Classic Side Car. Our Mixologists are sure to tempt your tastebuds and will pair the perfect drink with your dinner
Online reservations showed there were no tables available. I simply sent a request to be contacted if there was a cancellentation. It took only a short time to receive a confirmation. Sweet!
My manhattan was made to perfection! It provided a great start to our meal. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin and I enjoyed the walleye. The meals were perfect from the presentation to the taste. Our apple pie dessert topped off the evening!
Service was excellent. We arrived early for the reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was knowledgable about each selection and gave recommendations based on our likes. I would highly recommend this venue for a nice meal out.

We stopped for lunch midweek. The service was friendly and attentive. The pizza was good. We each had a personal size pizza that was just the right size. The crust is thin. The restaurant is small and cozy. It is clean and nice stop when visiting Fargo.

I am from Southern Minnesota, and the one thing my friends and co-workers told me about Fargo, North Dakota is the sheer amount of places to eat that they have! I was super excited about the prospect of having world class food.
We googled the best places to eat in Fargo, and saw that the Wurst Bier Hall was Number 1. I am of German heritage, and my husband can't say no to delicious sausages, so we decided this would be our best bet for a Friday night dinner in Fargo.
We walked right in to a "please seat yourself" situation and found a little table nestled by the bar. The restaurant itself is really quite lovely, trendy, and hip. Instead of sports, they were playing music videos on the televisions (which was a fun, nice change to not see sports!)
Above our table at an outcropping was several different kinds of sauces to sprinkle on your food.
We were promptly greeted by a flamboyant, charismatic waiter. We ordered from their vast selection of beers, and drooled as we read their German-centric menu (nothing like this restaurant exists where I am from!)
We agreed to this giant $30 Sausage and Pretzel and German potatoes meal.
The food came quickly, and it was quite glorious. Three enormous sausages were craftfully arranged in the middle, followed by a giant Snake sized pretzel skirting the outside of the plate. The potatoes and other dressings for the meal were plopped around the edges. Three little Germany flags victoriously stood on each mountain of meat showcasing which sausage was which.
My mouth dropped at the sheer extent of the food!
I tasted each sausage with an excited delight flooding my brain at every bite. The meat was cooked to perfection and salted and seasoned perfectly. The pretzel was like biting into Summer, as it gave off hints of pretzel and fresh mini donuts.
I burst into a quiet fake German song, as I told my husband I needed to sing the song of my people as the food was so inspiring to my taste buds. I don't even know German and words wafted from my mouth, singing the song of this delicious food.
The food was just fantastic, with a great waiter and a great experience overall. The saddest part was leaving with my to-go box, knowing that I will never be able to eat there again since I live in Southern Minnesota...

Look people, if you like meat this is a good place to start. All the meat is hand cut & well worth the trip in for anyone who likes any cut of meat cooked to your liking. The Roadhouse is not to for a romantic dinner setting by any means, but I would say for sure a family setting & in & out if your hungry.. If you plan on going to dine during the weekends during the winter months, get there early or you will be sitting for awhile. All in all a very good bet for a very good steak in town.

Passage to India opened in August 2005 and is located inside the Westfield Strip Mall Fargo. Since then, Chef Alham Ali, Chef Birkha Moger, and Chef Sam Rangaswamy have been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures to suit the Midwestern palate. Passage to India's interior, as recently remodeled, reflects the urban sensibilities of Fargo's growth while also paying tribute to India's storied past and culture. The restaurant features a daily lunch buffet with over 20 options including a cold bar, vegetarian dishes, and non-vegetarian dishes (highly recommended for first-timers). Following lunch, the restaurant serves full service a La Carte up till close at 9:30p.
Kind of a hole in the wall place but very warm and welcoming. The staff was kind and showed allot of patience with some new folks who hadn't had much experience ordering Indian food. The food was great and as per normal plenty of it. Served family style and the food was great. Lamb was very good, chicken was fantastic. Not too expensive and for what you get you could have a few meals with the leftovers. Did not get a chance to sample the buffet as it is only during lunch but I'll wager that it's legit as well.

Founded during 2014 in Fargo, ND, Sickies Garage now has 5 locations across North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
Our waitress was extremely friendly and caring. We felt well taken care of as she was attentive throughout our two hour stay. The endless wings are the best in the area in my opinion. The sauces are so variable that it’s nearly impossible to stop eating. Highly recommend to anyone craving late night wings.
