We got the fajitas for two and their was plenty of food. My only problem is four tortillas is not enough to eat the platter. When I asked for more they charged me extra. Service was slow but adequate. Price was a bit high.

Visited for lunch on a cold wintry day. Our group of six opted for the specialty sandwich menu and tried 4 different varieties. All were pleased with the sandwiches. Nicely prepared and tasty combinations of ingredients.
Service was attentive and courteous. Seated inside but outside seating available seasonally.
Excellent desert choices but opted for no desert this day.
Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway with easy access. Have made numerous enjoyable stops here through the years and the Deli continues to delight.

This place seems to be way over rated. We were looking for a "meat and three" and settled on Lakeview. That was a big mistake. My friend asked for a rare burger and it came out very quickly, way over cooked. I'm pretty sure it was reheated. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were partially cold, so they could be a microwave product as well.
Where things would really become a problem for Lakeview is if their microwave were to become inoperable. Maybe we caught this on a bad day, but I certainly wouldn't go back.

We have a diner-based menu with most everything made fresh in-house. Our decor is automotive-themed.
What a fun stop we found, and we enjoyed our lunch so much more than any fast food place. Fairly typical diner fare, very well prepared, and some interesting twists along the way if you want. The funky auto-truck-related decor was fun and the staff...MoreI'm glad you enjoyed your stop.

We went up to the mountains to get our yearly Christmas tree and we were in search of a place to sit all of us and eat. This place is nothing fancy when you walk in and look around...but the people are friendly and the food is wonderful. Country home cooking is the best way to describe their food. We were a table of 7 people and not one person could find a complaint on the food or service. This is right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway - so a worthwhile stop for sure for a fast and yummy meal! There is no longer a lake (appears to have been drained at some point) so have no expectations on that aspect!

We found a Subway right next door to the hotel where we was staying . It was in with a Marathon gas and convenient store so instaead of spending more money on food we got subs for $1.99 and took them back to room for supper on Monday evening. Hubby gor the cold cut combo and I got the meatball sub! They were good!!! We had been shopping at the Southwest Farmers Mkt that morn and got some tomatoes so they went well with my meatball sub and hubby had his big green onions with his sub! Also a fresh peach for dessert!!!

We were touring the Blue Ridge Parkway and pulled off here for lunch. It's about five miles off the parkway.
This is basically a food truck but the pulled pork was absolutely delicious. I imagine that most of their trade is "drive through" but there are picnic tables if you would like to eat in (the great outdoors).
There are gas stations right across the street.
Service is very friendly. Try it you will like it.
