Make reservations! The owners cook and greet their guests. The food is flavorful and well cooked. This little restaurant is the perfect cross between southern home cooking and California fresh flavors. There's even a house made vegeburger that's appealing enough to tempt carnivores. Everyone in our party was raving about their food by the time we left. We'll be back!

They only have two sandiches - tuna or chicken salad with sprouts on wheat toast, but they are good. And the best part is that you can get a combo with a half sandwich with a small yogurt and chips (or a whole sandwich with yogurt and chips). Check out the toppings - in the summer they have fresh strawberries. Well worth checking out for just the yogurt.

The Fallbrook Coffee Company is a very small, church-run coffee shop. The prices are comparable to Starbucks. Coffee is decent, food is very good.

The best donuts ever! I love this place .... it is a regular hang out for a lot of retirees that meet there. There is a 6 a.m. group, 7 a.m. group, 8 a.m. and a 9 a.m. group --- they are super friendly and the prices are right! Family owned and operated ....

they are on yelp also.
This place qualifies as a Hole in the Wall but is a real standout with Great food and service. Looks like a funky place on the side of the road surrounded by other quaint funky markets and gas station...what a surprise we had the best steaks and our friends had the Prime Rib.
We will be back!

Employees are always friendly. They have a wide variety of flavors and change selections often. They have both regular, and nonfat selections. Some flavors can be mixed together in the dispenser!

Local Institution with huge local following that has been a family favorite for years and years. We have been going for well over 10 years.
Named after famous and elusive famous Scottish Loch Ness monster it serves half pound burgers from a "food shack" with outside seating. Small with at most 20 seats outside.
Its a good large burger and a good meal for $7.95. They serve breakfast too.
The burger is big and cooked right. Debates who has "best burger" are academic Thats good but you go there for the fun of it .Its cool, filling and demonstration of creative low budget enterprise at its best.
Don't ask for anything that is not on menu. Kitchen is tiny and they usually are working flat out as its busy.No alcohol but cans of soda.
Its to west of I15 freeway on 76 Fallbrook Intersection and slightly north on west side of old road 395 just a few hundred yards up from the road junction. Its back from road just on side of the Pala Market after the country club cabins. Go slow - its easily missed. Just like Nessy herself.
They are popular but service is quick. Ask if you want pickles or jalapeno peppers. You line up order at right window and pick up from left when number called.
If any in your party have "special diet needs" you better advise them or leave them at home. This really is for the meat, cheese, full fat, caffeinated majority of eaters. The market is next door if you want any groceries.
Its "eat and go" not a place to linger and very casual eating.
Seating is outside and in summer it can get pretty hot in sun and its country so you know what to expect. Its also a ways out of town (Fallbrook and any local town).
Next door (north) is a plant nursery and then a hotel and nextdoor to south a market making it a good stop off point for visitors to San Diego and Coast if you are coming in on I15. Freeway is 2 mins away.
You can park outside easily except when it is way busy and then you can park on road easily.
Go to website for further information. Enjoy!!

Very attractive site, but the food is meh. Suggest coming for entertainment (loved the Mariachis) and having a bottled beer. My husband had a strawberry dacquari. It was like a bad slushy, undrinkable.

A clean comfortable restaurant with pleasant atmosphere, bright windows and a shaded patio unfortunately does not make for good dining.... The food is very mediocre and many of the dishes are inedible. This venue has gotten worse in the food department as time goes by... dont waste your money for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Busy little place so we made reservations. The food was very good and the corkage fee was only $10. We ordered Bruschetta, Calamari and salads as appetizers. All were very good. The pizza was delicious. We also had the Chicken Parmesan amd Osso Buco. Everyone was happy with their meals. Great little place!
