Looks worn out, but the food,service and value were great. There are not many choices in Falfurrias and they all have pretty much the same menu. Burgers, some Mexican, and fried anything with some form of potato. We ate a 3 of the restaurants and this was by far the best one. The sweet tea was excellent as was the chicken fried steak.

We were tired of the fast food stops while driving around. Stopped in, it is next to Godfather's. Not easy to find. Food was fresh homemade. Chicken fried steak was good. Fries were cold. Not a bad hole in the wall.

We went at approx. 1 am and the place was packed with football players, coaches, and fans from 3 different local high schools. We paid for large upgrades and were given only medium. There was no lids for the drinks and when I went to ask, the employee said, "there's plenty out there". I reminded him that the establishment and was booked to capacity and there was a possibility their supply ran out "out there". He smiled and said, "oh yeah". And of course our burgers were not as we ordered them. I didn't go back to have them corrected because I know how busy they were, but I still expect my food to be as I ordered it, especially when I pay extra.

Stopped in here on our way traveling North from the border. Convenient location, staff was efficient and polite, food was typical for McDonald's. We would stop by here again while traveling. Coffee was a little old, but it was late into the supper rush.

Not sure what they do different here but this Church's always has the best hot fried chicken meal available after a hard day of South Texas dove hunting. Haven't had a bad experience yet and the staff is always super friendly and very conscientious about good service.

Very partial to Pizza Hut over all the competition, however this buffet was very fresh and didn't have standard cheese and pepperoni. The selection was great and fresh pizza was put out almost every 5-8 minutes. Thanks Pizza Hut for another great meal.

Listen to the reviews on here that are negative and believe every word they say!. I didn't and I wish I had. The food was edible and that's all. I had a hamburger steak and the gravy was grey colored. No flavor in their food at all, just bland tasting. The service was horrible. I ran out of tea and the waitress walked by with the tea pitcher, filled the guy behind me and set the pitcher on the counter (she was the owners daughter and not my waitress anyway, but she could have filled my glass). She was also dressed in flip flops, cut off sweat pants that were too baggy and a plain grey shirt. Just didn't seem professional at all. The only people that seem to like this place are locals. I don't want to sound like a jerk, I try to stay positive about most places, but all the negative reviews about this place were spot on accurate. I've been in Falfurrias for a week on business and the only defect pave has been Stricklands.

On our way back to Houston we stopped here for lunch. We opted for the buffet, lots of dishes: chicken, beef, ground beef, salad, refried and charro beans, rice, soups, fruit, etc. Well stocked buffet and homemade corn and flour tortillas to your table. Recommend it for good Mexican food.
